i was at the last heart, a few slashes away and she still killed me lmao 😭 update: i actually got the lantern now using my own strategy for the middle heart in part 4, going right might not help everytime bc she's still near and if she's revisiting the 1st heart she'll definately turn back around a few seconds later and notice you, for everyone who's struggling i suggest you wait about 5 mins each for her hum/laughter (depends on when youre slicing it, i suggest laughter) to fade away then rush to the heart, slice it about 3-4 times then run back to the cabin you were on, it will take some time about 15+ mins i think? but it's worth it :) no hate tho these tips helped me a lot on the other parts- just sharing the way i did it btw ^^ yes i was on solo-

I had this perfect team, one was good in Tokito's part, I was good in school part, me and another guy was good in Kusunoki's part, and one was good in Saigomo's part. Sadly the person who was good at Saigomo's part disconnected, and i had to do it myself bc the others were scared, this really helped! Thank you so much!

I cant even with chapter 1 first maze. HIACHI COMES OUT OF NOWHERE!

In the school map, if u have 2 players one person can go into the room that needs key one and spy on mom, if she goes downstairs the person standing there have to say "down", if she comes up just say "up".While the other player can go around and collect the butterflies.Same thing goes to the kusonoki's map....Someone can stand in the bush near the fire place, while the other person gets the items, if kusonoki is near the fire place say "he's near the fire place". Thats when u can get out of the bush and get the items (or u can just risk it and make a run for the items when he is near u). Thats the safest and slowest way that i know.Lastly, at sama's place i recommand splitting up. The heart in the middle is the hardest, so i recommand getting the other hearts first just to be safe.You DO NOT need to close the cabinets when your in, UNLESS sama is chasing you. Make sure your hands are not stickking out too. Tips and tricks(My experience attempting it for 13 times ;-;): 1. Comunnitcation is key. 2.Grandpa is blind so u can walk behind him most of the time but just keep a safety distance in case he turns around and starts chasing u. 3.Uneqquip your lantern/candle when u hide in the bush(necesarry when grandpa is chasing u) 4.Pray. Yes just pray hehe 5.At the mannequins, if you didnt know...u can climbb the wall (go to the left side)lmfao 6.If u get lucky..Sama will get stuck,and if your with someone else,ask them to just rush and get as many hearts as possible, Sama got stuck when it was my 11th time playing, she got stuck twice so ye. (idk if they fixed the bug) 7.Its all about timing 8.IF u ever get stuck on the loading screen (to sama's maze). DO NOT leave the game unless its a solo.If u have a friend..ask them if the player list thingy at the top right has your name, if its there, just let your friend do the work while u just try not to disconnect...And if your friend stab all the hearts themselfs.U will get the lantern and the badge. (This happend to me at the last attempt so yea) good luck to those who havent done it.I hope the tips that i stated helps at least a little bit :D lots of grammar mistakes,sorry.

I counted the amount of slashes you need for each heart and it was 22. Multiply that by 7 hearts and in total you gotta slash them all at least 154 times *Edit: each heart takes 22 slashes thank you Lauri

I know I'm too late, but I have some tips! The sewers (Saigomo's place) Saigomo(Not enraged) actually hums, just low pitched. It's best if you are on Max volume, The louder her hums are, the closer she is to you. Enraged Saigomo She will start Laughing, this will be your advantage or whatever. The louder her laughs are, the closer she is to you. If both saigomo/s sounds are loud, hide in a locker to hide from her. (50% chance to survive when you are seen getting in a locker.) Also its best if u and your friends split to get the 6 hearts and and on the 7th heart (center heart) you all slay it because its the hardest heart to slay coz you can always hear her laughs, you cannot tell which direction she is on, just wait until her laughs are a bit quiet. Also before you slay a heart make sure to hide until she comes so you don't get surprise attacked. :> Fun fact: Saigomo's jumpscare sound is from the game "Devour" :D

I love how she doesnt even seem to be scared or get any chillsssssssss and every jumpscare its like she just ignored it. shes so brave.

Luna, I recommend you to make a map with A.I. Routes if possible Edit: ok that's my highest comment with likes-

the monsters turns are randomized, if i remember correctly. the possible routes are the basically the whole maze but minus the safe zones ( depends on which part you are on )

U do know how much practice it takes to finish nightmare or even find all patterns and stuff? It takes multible attempts so if LunaYashi was in a horror movie she would have to memorize patterns if u are lucky and its just a path finding robot.

I'm giving a tip in the part where you go through the Mannequin part. Look at the mannequins so they don't get you. I suggest walking through the right side. And stay on that side.so you have a better view to look at the the mannequins on your way to the door. The mannequins can actually get you so trust me. You can actually get caught by them

@@junchongko actually shaku is kusonokis daughter, sama cursed shaku and turned her in to a doll, she said sacrifice ur self to set ur daughter free, but at the end he was tricked. Sama left shaku in a cherry blossom tree garden, then, hiachi found shaku.

i got killed during the sword fight on nightmare. you had it hard when you had to slice like 10 of the hearts. great job

So for anyone that is confused on the storyline of mimic is that the monsters in chapter 1, 2, 3, 4 and witch trials are your family which is cursed, betrayed and created by Saigomo/omukade/kintoru/sama That is what the storyline was teaching about how it started because on chapter 1 People keep making videos about hiachi opening the seal of sama So thats how the monsters were trying to target you because sama is controlling the monsters. Hope this was clear :,)

Tip: When you find a heart, go to the locker and listen for humming or laughter . If you do hear them then don't come out , hide till you can't hear them. Then start slashing the heart, if you hear the noises again midway through slashing, go back and hide. Since you only have 1 chance. Also btw, you can revive your teammates , but only once.

You should have tried beating it just a few days after Nightmare Mode of this Chapter came out. There was a lot of people at that time making Nightmare 4 parties. It has been more than one month since Nightmare 4 so not a lot are even brave enough to try Nightmare Mode. If you want to find cooperative players, maybe go to the Mimic Discord Server and ask for people at #looking-for-team chat.

Also maybe try Solo Mode, my first Nightmare Complete in Nightmare 3 and somehow after so much dying in multiplayer, I tried to solo it for a few rounds and I somehow managed to beat it.

I was at the keiko part, with 11/13 butterflies and the only one alive and this was today at 2 am that meant its was harder for me to distinguish between the sounds and i was the only one alive and then I saw that it was really late and staying up all night is not for me (I got bad headaches the day after) so I I them I had to go sad :,(

Hey um, not hating! I really enjoy your videos and they give me courage to go through the game by myself! They inspired me to carry a lot of my friends often on TWT and CH4 school map! Next time, if there's little collecting thingies, like the hearts, spirits, et cetera, can you put check marks on the ones you've collected and put the actual map on the other side? Unless there's an actual reason you do this, please let me know! Have a wonderful day!

This is helpful especially for the first part of the mimic chapter 4 where you have to watch out for the mannequin things dim what they are called but I keep dying to them even if I'm playing with 5 people

For the mannequin part, I recommend just going along the right wall, so part 1 is super easy for me cause the monster never gets to me. And you have to stare at the the whole time, especially if you catch one moving

Im still not good or brave enough to finish chap IV nm without a pro person helping me, but recently Im getting better at chapter IV, III and i can probs make II Nm solo! :D (even though i already won II Nm), its all about practicing at the end Edit: I managed to make 5/7 of Sama's hearts alone in Nm IV! (My teammates died trying to get to the first Hearts) I died in the middle heart sadly BC i didnt hear her but she detected me

I carried my teammates just by watching these while I play xd. Thanks for these tips ❤️

14:59 I died at this part bc kusunoki showed up and i had 3 of the items :^) BTW the tip was great I almost finished it but I needed to restart my computer :,) Thanks Luna you're the best at giving tips ur the reason why i passed nightmare II and III and nightmare witch trials :DDD

You need to hug the wall and see when he passes then sprint to the field

Since game got revamped. I'll tell u some tips. I recommend duo or solo or 5 players. Keep in mind. People must have a brain to know how to play this. For tokitos part. One person looks back and other person looks front. At the school part. I recommend someone stays in the locked key 1 room. So they can tell if keiko is either up or down. At Kusonokis part. Someone goes to the right. Turn off their candle and tell if he goes left or right. Right is the best since he won't come sooner. In left he will come sooner. Everyone shall grab a piece and go burn it. Then find the last one. And at the hearts part. Saigomo. So she roams around the slopes a lot. And I recommend getting those first. Cause it won't be harder for u. Then another person gets the last heart. At boss fight. When she's attacking for example: hits u with her hands or jumps on u. Just stand still and get some sprint. Cause u need it. And her rage mode is a pain. So I recommend everyone attacks her hands the most. Since they do the most damage. If u wanna get Kusonoki and saigomo pick the "KILL SAMA" ending. You'll get them. I hope this helped u.

Basically Sama was chasing my friend and my friend went by the locker I was in and I died like what- He didn't even go inside it or open the door. I didn't have the sword and candle out too. I made sure no part of me was sticking out, yet she got me.
