Hi!, I couldn't find the very first song... Would you be so kind to add a track list or, perhaps, directly hinting me its name? Thanks in advance. Great work, by the way! :)

An Empire & Republic that survived for over a millenia. Very interesting to imagine the pride of being a Roman in their golden ages of peace and domination. Belonging to a centuries-old or millenia-old empire that ruled over millions of individuals in the ancient world. Legions of thousands to maintain order and protect from external threats. A great shame there was a time period where we lost so much technological knowledge from the era of the Roman Empire, only to be recovered/rediscovered in the renaissance.

For over TWO thousand years, actually. The Roman legacy ended finally in December 1475 AD when the Ottomans conquered the last remnant of the Eastern Roman Empire, the principality of Theodoro, bringing the end of Roman history which spanned 2228 years. Rome was founded under a Romulus and lost under another Romulus. Constantinople was founded under a Constantine and lost under another Constantine. It is said that Romulus was taken by Mars during a parade and was never seen again, while Constantine XI, last Roman Emperor in the East, has not actually died during the fall of Constantinople (1453 AD), but was instead saved by an Angel and turned into a piece of marble, hidden beneath the Golden Gate of Constantinople. There are many legends surrounding the city of Constantinople, such as how the Holy Mary answered prayers and sunk the entire fleet of the invading Avars, and how during the fall of The City, she was seen leaving as it fell to heretical hands, or how the two priests in the Hagia Sophia holding a service disappeared into the walls of the Cathedral, never able to finish, said to return when the City returns to its rightful owners, and how the City was blanketed by a thick fog and the dome of the cathedral glowed mysteriously after the fall, which was taken as a symbol of the Holy Spirit leaving it as the heretics now held it, before the city and said dome erupted in flames. After the fall of the Western half of the Empire, the Eastern half continued to live for another thousand years, and not only did they survive the goths which took down the West, they in fact reconquered all of Italy [which sadly didn't last long due to other issues], and thrived, until the Battle of Nineveh and the following Muslim expansions. Though heavily outnumbered, the Eastern Romans almost completely turned the Ottoman siege of Constantinople around, about 7 times; they gave the Turks massive casualties, before they were finally defeated. What I find heartwarming is that 300 Romanians, descendants of Rome, fought alongside the Principality of Theodoro, territory once part of the Eastern Roman Empire, against the Ottoman Turks. Sadly, though, in December, the Principality fell. Roman history is much deeper and much longer than what both you and I mentioned this far. It could be talked about for forever and a day.

You know that it is a myth that the Middle Ages were a technological regression, right? Renaissance didn't recover anything in terms of tech and science, just met with classical standards again (architecture, art...). During the Middle Ages, science kept evolving, while the church took care of the ancient knowledge by making manuscripts. Following to this myth, a thing such as the Renaissance wouldn't have ever been possible. You are telling me that science and art popped up again out of complete darkness and regression? Do you think those beautiful cathedrals and palaces, wich have been standing for hundreds and even more than thousand years, are product of dirty and awkward contructors and architects from an obscure era?

@@ty-u744gfj38 Bad for the Eastern Roman Empire and All Romans, but the Roman Empire and its successors, the Western Roman Empire and the Eastern Roman Empire, are a barbaric Empire. The Ottomans allowed the people of the Roman lands to practice their faith freely and lead a good life and ruled it with justice.
