With the value of these items being driven by the number of collectors who are active in the hobby, what do you guys think is crucial for sustaining the interest in these items?

Well social media has really filled in the void that has been left by schools paying less attention to it and the fact that the further away we get from a historical point, the less interest there generally is. So i think social media, in all its forms is crucial to hobby growth.

I'm always directing people on Facebook towards the forums. I see so many screwed up answers , lies and misinformation wrt items.

i have tried to join the WAF 4-5 different times ....the shit never works ...it will not let me join ,,, something about passwords and e-mails and errors , it sucks ...i just put down to being a computer idiot

That sucks man, i know its not the easiest platform to use. Make sure your browser is updated.

I've been trynna get an WAF account for ages... And its always an error. I'd really like a chance to join it one day.

@@smgwarrelics I tried to do this on Google Chrome, and whenever I make an account with an email account, it does create an account, but does not let me sign in. It says it sent me a verification mail, but those never came(even in the junk pile). I reckon I will try to sign back in through Safari whenever I have time.

WAF doesn't work well with Internet Explorer, try a more secure browser like chrome or firefox or safari, etc.

@@smgwarrelics I usually use my Chrome. Even when I enter my email, it does create an account, but the verification code never comes through my email. Not even in the junk. Once I have time, I will be using Safari. But for now, it seems to be what it is.

Every single time I reset my password, I get shown with a "The address that you have used to request a new password is not valid. Please request a new password be sent to you by using this page." message. And when I input my email, it never comes :(
