1:56 A picture the the left is 19th Century hypohesis of Quinqueremes (Five oarsmen per file), which proven impractical in real life. the actual Quinquereme is a ship to the right. wider hulls than trireme, capable of supporting siege engines.

Exactly. The number in the name like Quinquereme = five refers to the number of rowers per file and not oars. Each oar could and mostly would have two or more rowers.

@@leonvoelker7639 As far as polyreme archaeological reconstruction is concened. there's no quadrireme nor quinquereme being built as life size examples to test hypothesis. of possible dimensions these two could be.
Sadly, too much wrong/incorrect information in this video. And too many illustrations that only show fantasy ships or ships not related to the Roman navy.
