All I can say is thank goodness for this help! My second child was born in Germany, the first in America. If I could, both would have been born in Germany. In America it’s like an assembly line, very little personal help, guidance, or concern for the mother. It seems like, eh yeah so you are having a baby we get HIGH risk all the time,,,,what is your insurance? Sign for this, or this, or this. In Germany, my child’s and my medical and mental health was the MAIN concern. In America, after the birth when the mother and child go home, there is NO follow up with care other than appointments the mother sets up. In Germany, they come to your home and help you with any issue you are having. They are very proactive about finding out if you have help from your partner or family and building their assistance around your requirements. Thank you Germany! I do not think my child would be here today if it wasn’t for the care given to us by the ALL male staff. Danke.
What touched me the most was the humanity of all of the men,, especially Willie. Personally I have not experienced men as kind and gentle and never their humanity. It was good to see, and so normal

A man's never exhibited his humanity around you? Are the only men you've ever met psychopathic gang members or something?
I trained as an obstetric nurse, we had two guys in our class, they were awesome.
As someone who lives in America this is really refreshing. These guys are so sweet. America needs some refreshing in the baby world. I like it.
Where did the Pullover Island documentary go? I had saved it for later to watch and now it is gone... :( Please bring it back soon!
