I remember when I discovered you guys. Aug of 2020, heartbroken; the woman I loved left me for another man. Job was lost due to covid. Broken, depressed, on the verge of bring homeless, a shell of a man I used to be. I heard Jason and for some reason it just blew the lid off of my emotions and I sobbed and sobbed for what felt like an hour straight. I felt like I healed that day and I've been a fan ever since.

When we talk about the trilogy.. are we talking Light Years, Gloria, and Jason? … i always thought Last Train had a place in that story, but this now totally fits. This Song - talks about two friends where one is in love with the other Last Train - where circumstances lead to the two friends spending a night together Gloria/Jason - expressing their feelings for each other Light Years - the inevitability of their relationship

Found this band recently when I heard a cover of 'Sunset' by bmw 5150. He brings forward the lead guitar. I love it when finding a band and their songs. They softly get into my being. Music is therapeutic. Especially when the heart is involved.❤

The Midnight rarely disappoint I’ve been listening to their material for a few years now and its probably the closest thing to nostalgia I can feel, but the lyrics and the voice has to be right up there for being original…I can always tell when it’s the Midnight by the voice and the melodies they continue to produce…my mind is always somewhere else listening to these guys keep bringing out albums per year always something to look forward…absolutely brilliant artists keep up the amazing work.

The way you always seem to release the right song at the right time in my life is why I have such a special connection to you guys. You turn my feelings into music.

Hell yes... I was hoping the new album would have a song (or eight, lol) that fits my "late night driving to nowhere" list for when I'm literally driving around at night just to clear my head. This one nails it!

It´s a beautiful sunny day here at Buenos Aires, Argentina, and even with this amount of light I can totally inmerse in this song and the fantasy of night. The midnight always takes me out from whenever I am, and puts me under the sweetest nocturnal fantasy. This feeling of tranquility, with a touch of nostalgia and the certain feel of knowing that everything it´s on their exact place.

The best song on the album!!! Damn this is fire 🔥🔥🔥 a perfect blend of the new styling with who they are at the core. This is such a deep look into the mirrors of our hearts. I think Tyler's telling us to jump... even when fear tells us to turn around.... change your heart or die echoes a similar feeling. - Theres a mountain that we all should climb, some of us know this but just dont do it, others have. If you never climb it... you'll never get the chance to truly live. We all need to be that hero.... even if it's just to save ourselves.

Band worth binging.💜

Thr Midnight is synthy 80sness pop but with a bit modern touch. Fell in love through 'Sunset'. That drony drive, and how i so love that inbetween 5-note bell hook/line. I listened it while doing my walks on a road just beside a freeway, during (partly) starry nights in, this case, in early, late and very late autumn in Europe. Wich was downright heaven, it fitted the scene and atmosphere, and i can recommend, it's *HEALING* . If you say TM i would say for me it's music after a night out partying or whatever big or less big event, when you are euphoric or happy by that event. You feel happiness in your whole body and being- you are happy and ensynced with your life in that momenr and now you continue that joy by chilling and vibing outside during a soft climate spring/summer very late starry night, so, no pun intended, just before midnight, whereas the sky is mostly dark, but there is *still that* hinch of blue somewhere far along the horizon. The life of the daytime is still somewhere hanging the sky, altough very far away. Being outside after such an event and with that feeling when coming from such an event always only even enhances that supergood feeling inside. You feel truly wholesome and alive. The setting is for instance on a hilltop overlooking a city, small afterparty with a group of friends, or just alone with your love. Feeling good and have wonderful happy conversations, philosophical even maybe. These are the nights when you are so filled up with such good vibes/energy/inspiration/happiness/relaxation/even realization that you cannot sleep. Maybe even your mind, body and/or whole being is sizzling. Summary: For me The Midnight is romantic synthpop for those romantic and/or happy outside-starry-night moments after the evening-events, when you feel alive and one with your life, not only by the evening but also by the conclusion itself of that evening.

The guitar solo is 🔥

This song is incredible. Makes me think of all the happiness that came from 80's and 90's movies while simultaneously being an emotional song, like the feeling of going on a lonely night time drive

Really feel so blessed and enlightened to be able to have my ears on what we call The Midnight. The transcendent and introspective nature of this track is like travelling through time. I think they are on the verge of creating their own musical decade like the 80s did. I just wish and pray that they never lose their authentic synthetic neon-ness if that makes sense. I think that too. The chorus' lyrics don't really hit for me, but I really like the rest of the song. Although I like "Heartbeat" and "Change Your Heart or Die", the rest have really been misses for me. I know they want to do a different style, but it doesn't feel like they've been strong.
