TheSojabohn Thanks, man 🙏🏻Dude, I‘m still struggeling with soloing and improvising. Best thing you can do, in my opinion at least, is, to lower the tempo of the original video and transcribe note by note. That‘s what I did with this solo. You learn the most out of this.

@@TheSojabohnLP Hey man, sorry, for late answer. Thought a while over your question, and yes, there is a little tool, that helped me transcribing the solo. The Simple (but highly effective) answer is: Hearing and seeing triads and it's extension (for example the 7th). If you know and see them (still practicing this to this day..) you got the roadmap for most of the solo.

@@entropynebula606 Thanks man, there is literally no EQ-Setting at all, because it was a preset from my biasFX-Plugin. The "Amp" is about 12 but in front of the chain is a tubescreamer set to about 10, that makes this sound like it is heard on the clip.

@@thomasbuck6250 Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. I was secretly hoping you'd mention a tubescreamer, I keep flipping between a Ts9 and a Rat and you've just confirmed it to me. Hey man, thanks, really appreciate it. I'll do my best and get back to this solo someday - It's been a while, since I've played and recorded this. It was all by ear and I'm terribly bad in writing things in guitar pro. But as said above: I'll do my best and try to get back at it soon.
Wow! Thats great. What an effect on guitar!?

Hey man, sorry, for that late reply. It's more simple, than you might think. It's the early BiasFX guitar plugin. It's a Plexi simulation with an TS9-Clone in front of it. A little compression, a bit of delay and there you have it. Hope that helps.

Hey Paul, thanks man! It's more simple than fancy as you may think. I'm using the old BiasFX2 PlugIn. The Amp is a Plexi-Simulation with a TS9-like Pedal in front of it. A little compression and that's it. But all tone out of the Plugin. Hope that helps.
which guitar pedal did you use for this? amazing cover
@thomasbuck6250

Thomas Buck Nice cover🥰, i will love to hear a cover by the song: Forbidden Dream by Ace Buchannon

Hey man, thanks, really appreciate it. The guitar is a Mayones Duvell7, and I used the BIASFx-PlugIn for the guitar sound on this video. I bet, you get a similar result (even better perhaps) with any NeuralDSP-PlugIn, which I use for my newer Clips. Hope that helps!
I hope that.. you can upload it on Spotify with full version
I always thought this song was a guitar synth and not a keyboard

@thomasbuck6250
3 жыл бұрын
@@entropynebula606 Thanks man, there is literally no EQ-Setting at all, because it was a preset from my biasFX-Plugin. The "Amp" is about 12 but in front of the chain is a tubescreamer set to about 10, that makes this sound like it is heard on the clip.
@entropynebula606

@@thomasbuck6250 Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. I was secretly hoping you'd mention a tubescreamer, I keep flipping between a Ts9 and a Rat and you've just confirmed it to me. Excellent work with the vid, great sound and clear to see. How much do you get out of the string mute? I use a boss noise suppressor at the mo, those 80s gain levels are savage for noise. All the best.
@thomasbuck6250
3 жыл бұрын
@@entropynebula606 You're welcome! Yes, you can't get wrong with a Ts9. String muting is still a challenge for me and I practice it nowadays more regular. But to be honest, I still use noise gates between 10 and 11 in my plugins, because - you mentioned it - those 80's sounds are nasty noise maker! Cheers & love
