Tatered. Tots.
36,000 years ago our ancestors, warmed and lit by fire stolen from Prometheus, painted pictures of bison and cattle in the caves of Altimira in northern Spain.
The 5th century BC Athens brought us the golden age of Pericles, the birth of democracy, and Artistotle's Poetics, the framework for every story since told.
The 17th century was Shakespeare, 18th the Declaration of Independence, 19th was Nietzche.
Then for a while there was nothing. Then, there was SUPER DELUXE. Then, nothing again.
Now is Tatered.

Yeah always good to know where things come from. I remember doing this nine years ago while in Turkey before seeing it on Instagram
"We are striving for purpose, not perfection; and our job as marblers is to simply observe, and adjust"
She is a really insightful and amazing artist. I know another artist a lot like her. I bet she is a fantastic teacher.
That was beautiful. I could watch it again and again.
So nice to find after your wake n bake 😌
These are amazing! Art was always something I wish I could do.
My Ebru (marbling) kit just arrived today. Looking at this, I could not be more excited to try it out. Amazing work, love it.

Thank you!... very therapeutic... Thinking of doing it on bits of furniture

Beautiful... Satisfying 😍
My eyes were doing this 😍 the whole video.
First time I saw this was on the fly leaves of seventeenth century books. Back in seventeenth century England this was known as 'Turkey paper' and was often used decoratively in book binding for inside the book binding boards or as I said for fly leaves.
Simply beautyful!
Super cool video! Informative, concise, and pretty colors? That's a recipe for success if I ever saw one 👍y'all are on my list of people whose vids I like before I watch, keep up the great work!

Love this work. I want to get into bookbinding and good endpapers are hard to come by so this method might let me create my own - if it does not become an end in itself

Wawwww!!!!! Gorgeous!!!!

Very cool !!
That was SO cool!!!!!
Marbling was once used as a way to mark legal currency. It used to be such a secretive art that apprentices were only taught tiny sections of the process: one apprentice learned how to mix the paints, another learned how to thicken the bath, another learned how to drop and manipulate the paints, etc.
Fans from India! Loved your technique.. #fabulous #lovedit
ok this is so insanely cool
Mesmerizing !!!!!!

Wow! The results are beautiful and the list of materials are missing. Need to know what to use for such great results. Is there another tutorial that includes that info?

I miss this channel so much
Very good
4:15 WHAT WOAH
Love it. What kind of paint do you use? My paint usually won't float.
I want to learn this so bad.
Well, you have to use a specific kind of fluid and marbling paint in order to achieve those round drops or the paint will get mixed in the water.
Oh god, I really want some Turkish delights now.
Love your work, thanks for sharing. Where is your studio or webpage please?
That's beautiful. It looks like a means by which people with no artistic talent may create something. I used to love my Spirograph for the same reason when I was a kid.
I want shoes with that design on em
uhhhh... wow
what's the song that starts at the beginning?
what paint do you used for the result so good like that?
