Actually shit that’s one hell of a lineup, I’d like some Tom Petty as well.... and some of Brian Fallon solo stuff.... but that would be the shit

The distortion and grit he can pump out on command in his voice is so impressive. Great jam!

Same little riff he plays throughout the whole song; just 2h4 2p0 on the D string (or D flat, in this case, as they play half step down). Sounds like he might be hitting the open G string underneath it as well, either intentionally or just over strumming.

2 sheeps and a lion Though I agree, I prefer them right where they are at. Making the music they want to make, for the people who want to hear it, who'll share it to others, strictly for the love of it. No pressure to produce a certain amount of hits, in a certain set timescale, with seemingly endless funds, overproduction, etc. Art doesn't flourish when it's bankrolled. Though it has it's perks, it's more stifling than the capture of natural raw emotion, reflecting average, run-of-the-mill, relatable experiences, recorded with what they have, using necessity as the mother of invention when seeking that which may be more elaborate.

Menzingers are a punk band, don't think that's their goal really. They're pretty true to the punk ethos.

2 sheeps and a lion Dont just hate on hip hop like that. Music evolves & theres obviously a reason why Hip Hop as become this dominant force in music. Why should this replace rap artists who get popular? Why dont you point the blame in the direction of the "rock fans" who let the genre become the garbage it has been the last few years
