The Mentalists // 2007 World Memory Championships (Full Documentary)
This film was released on UK television in 2008. It chronicled the 2007 World Memory Championships (held in Bahrain). It followed a few key memory athletes like Ben Pridmore, Gunther Karsten, and Ed Cooke.
Personally, I discovered this film back in 2009 and it was a key motivating factor for me in becoming the USA Memory Champion. Partial clips from the film can be found across KZread, but not the entire film. So here it is!

What got me inspired is Yanjaa Wintersoul's performance in Got Talent!Yanjaa's performance showed in my recommendations hahahaha! I didn't have any talents so, I gave the talent of memory a try

It's amazing how much faster everyone has gotten. 47 seconds for cards is so slow for today's best memory athletes.

Those parents couldn't be more wrong. I can't think of anything more practical than having a trained memory especially in terms of achieving college degrees and learning languages.
That was thoroughly entertaining. Ben Pridmore comes across as a very likeable man.

Imagine being addicted to watching documentaries , reading books and learning new languages ...learning how to learn faster means you get your fix or hit anywhere anytime and you then manage to be happy , grateful , growing and successful all the time

Ben Pridmore is such an endearing character. P.S. I swear, Gunter has the personality of a cartoon villain!

Unfortunately, no. There are few years where anything was even filmed. But this was one of them. I wish there was one for every year!
