Yeah-that’s definitely one of the best moments in the entire series-I almost wonder why everyone in the orchestra didn’t bust up laughing

He's not wrong. Look all of the things we actually go through just for the promise of food.

The acting was very good and the writing was top of the shelf. One of the few shows that lived up to its premise of being smart.

Jane and Lisbon:*** Argue.... ****Lisbon storms off*** Jane: (talking to himself) I take it you don’t want to hear your plan... (imitates sassy Lisbon) no I don’t wanna hear your plan..... sheep dip your plan... 😂😂😂😂

Jane talking about cops hiding in the shadows to catch people speeding has resonated with me ever since. They would affect a lot more people parked out in the open

3 years too late but nope, hiding does help because people will drive safe even without seeing the cops while if they park in the open, people will only drive safe when they see the cops. The uncertainty is what makes people adhere to the rules. You can read up on this theory called "intermittent reinforcement", they kinda have the same principals.

if it's in the open the driver will temporarily slow down until they are past it and then start speeding while if it's hidden then it can be anywhere, forcing people to either drive legally or risk a ticket. i don't see why anyone is against it unless you constantly drive way over the limit.

Except for the fact that there is little to no evidence of the efficacy of hidden speed traps. And if there is little to no evidence to a reduction in crashes related to speed, then safety goes out the window as the reason to actually implement it.
