CHO is THE MAN!!!!! I love Tim Kang, he played the hell outta his character. The Cho-minator. I think the show had one more year. We watched Lisbon in charge, then Abbot. Would’ve been great to see Cho in charge and Jane work his craziness with him. And juggle baby and wife.

I loved Abbott as an addition. And It was sad to see Van Pelt and Rigsby leave. They did great job of bring the ends of the show together. Jane story came full cirlce with lisbon and special thank u to the writers for that. To a man who had lost so much and fought so hard to avenge his family, i loved how he got all that back in the end with the family and friends he gained. I was just so happy for him. 😊❤

I recently rewatched The Mentalist in 2021, and what you’re saying is straight facts. Some people don’t like the Red John ending as well as Jane and Lisbon being lovers. But I agree that after everything Patrick has been through, it came full circle and he was able to find happiness and close the dark chapters of his life and open up new ones. He was truly happy in the end after the pain and struggle he endured.

Binged this show here in quarantine 2020 and it was amazing! Why'd they end it? I wish it was still going!

I loved the show but I'm glad it ended where it did. There are many shows that keep going and extending but The Mentalist fully concluded Jane's redemption and ended with him finally being able to move on from his old life with Lisbon. It perfectly concludes the full arc and that's when a show should end.

We hear you!!! I was a faithful fan who hadn't watched after the finale ... always missed it and had all the DVDs ... but now my laptop doesn't play DVDs ... so I streamed it completely in 2020 and fell in love with it all over again!! I wish they would talk Simon into a follow up movie ... Patrick Jane's finished the house, the kids are a little older and they go in a cruise with Cho and the Rigbys - end up solving a mystery ... somewhere fun ...

I have a very severe addiction to Simon Baker.

I loved this show! And the humor.. So good 😁 Jane Patrick's humor was so funny, and Cho never, ever smiling 😄

I re watched the entire show recently and I realized that I really loved the last chapter of the story, I wish it wasn't canceled so early, seeing Jane almost fucked up everything and nearly losing Lisbon for good was fun and emotional at the same time. Great show The Mentalist!

i think its the only show that have perfect ending for each and every character.... never seen a single person whos not happy with the show

😂 Red John's ending is the most universally panned outcome ever. Completely deus ex machina and not at all consistent with his character.

Fantastic concept, production, storyline and actors. I’m currently watching reruns on Fox. Please please please !bring back a new show with Patrick Jane’s character. Simon Baker has the intellect for Jane’s repartee. The ensemble cast compliments the whole package. Excellent Executive Producers and Directors, with a recipe for another Massive hit. See it as a retirement package.

The Best serie I have seen in my life, Is full of mistery, acción, and fun, besides the main characters are excellent, I'v liked It so mucho and I'm still watching It.

I would be highly disappointed if they never got together, because they are great actors with a lot on screen chemistry and it would be shame if that didn't happened, although I always admire their closeness, friendship and partnership.

They say what they need to say to keep people watching. But Patrick has been interested in Teresa since the first episode/season. Patrick initiates the intimate touches, the tender stares. He has a need to make it clear to her that she can trust him and that he will always save her.

Rigsby and Van Pelt did not deserve to be let go. They were the reason I watched the show. I'm glad they got their happy ending but I wish they stayed a part of the show. The new people didn't live up.

but it was crappily unrealistic tho... shotgun and gun from a pretty close range to the chest? don't get me wrong i love this show and i hate if they killed of rigsby or van pelt, but that thing kind of bothered me. should've shown rigsby have a backup kevlar or some sort. but again, thanks god the writer chose to let him survive, especially after what happened to laroche

Rigsby being off the main cast meant the writers could put him in real danger and the audience would be willing to believe he could be killed. I'm glad they didn't go through with it, but the thrill of it being possible was great.

They could've made season 7 have 24 or 22 episodes like all other series . It really confuses me why they stopped season 7 at 13 ?

The channel they were on wanted them gone. They put them on Sunday during football and their rating went down so they canceled it. They put them on that night on purpose. Then when they put them back on after football their ratings went back up. It was a successful show but by that time it was the die hards keeping it alive and the network wanted new blood for bigger ratings. They tried the same thing with NCIS LA and it's ratings got better so they had no choice but to keep it but that show doesn't have a red-john like storyline that you need to keep fresh.

I understand the reasoning, but once Red John left the show, the seriousness dropped out, the acting lost its edge, and the whole show became just a slightly offbeat police procedural. That's why it didn't even last a full season 7.. Oh, and one other thing: seems like the suits came in and put the kabosh on Jane's anti-policing asides... he was turned into an FBI true believer by season 7....

Je ne suis pas d'accord. L'idée est justement celle de montrer combien de psychopathes meurtriers finissent par être des êtres méprisables avec la peur de mourir comme n'importe qui d'autre. En parallèle selon le jeu proposé dans le poème de Blake. Jane est d'abord l'agneau du tigre RJ pour finalement finir par transformer Jane en tigre de l'agneau RJ.
