Yes that's why we have democracy to split the power between multiple factions. If a king is good the people will benefit. If the king is bad the people will suffer.

@@ghostrider-nz1nc: Yes, but Christ is God and Mohammad I think was a mere Muslim prophet, and that's a huge difference. Christ Almighty sits on the throne, and the other will stand before the one who sits on the throne on judgement day like the rest of us. We are talking about two entirely different sets of beliefs, so there's no point in even debating the subject, but I speak from a position of actual experience after receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost like the 12 Apostles received on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2:1-4, which is much different than ppls opinion. Experience always supercedes opinion, and I also spoke in other tongues upon receiving the Holy Ghost just like the Apostles experienced, and I was instantly delivered and set free from multiple IV drug addictions (Heroin, Cocaine), cigarettes, alcohol, lying, stealing, swearing and many other sinful things I was bound by, and it's all because I obeyed the Acts 2:38 Salvation plan. 🕊
Awesome storytelling. Line after line of enlightenment and entertainment. Thumbs up!

"Churchill saw keeping hold of the British Empire as absolutely crucial otherwise Britain would be relegated to a position of being like Sweden or Belgium or one of these sort of inferior Continental Countries" - Piers Brendon perfect way to express colonialism and the title of this video.

The main cause of WW2 was imperialism, I blame it on Britain,Japan and Germany wanted a great chunck of the so called colonies.
Excellent! It validates my own view of when the war actually began- July 7, 1937.

This was an awesome documentary. I wish that it showed some of the triumphs of socialism and also, some of the catastrophes of capitalism /imperialism.
Was excited then realised this episode had been released before ... still waiting for the last episode ... Hopeful now it will come soon.

Well, I would be obliged if you could recommend some books on WWII that wraps up the whole thing. I am a 16-year-old lad from India and I'm deeply interested in WWII. I desire to study more on this particular subject. I would be glad if you kindly pay heed to my response.

Delivered From Evil by Robert Leckie is a really good synopsis of WW2. It leaves out a few things, but condensing WW2 to one book pretty much requires compromises, and I feel this is the best of those books.

Hi there. That is a very mature interest and ambition for a young person! I think the reality is that you could spend a lifetime studying WWII. One book I'm aware of which does try to cover the whole subject is 'The Second World War' by Antony Beevor. Be warned though that - of course - some of the content of any such book will be sad and quite possibly distressing. On the causes of the war, you could try 'Origins of the Second World War' by A. J. P. Taylor. His views are much debated though I believe. All the best with it and good luck!

Having read many books on the subject, of which many plodded along with passages so boring I would fall asleep reading them, you will find that KZread is a tremendous source of professionally and amateur videos, which are quite entertaining as well as accurate in scope. Whenever there is a question about something. knowledgeable folks will chime in, in the comments section to correct any errors. I'm 66; and can only dream of how much better the content has gotten in documentaries about the past. I've learned more in the past ten years about history by watching these videos, than I did in the previous 50.

Leaders, especially when you get to the top, if countries, fascinate me. How each one tackled issues. Seems as a rule, the East, or east Europe, get more barbaric and each more civilized one less.
