On February 15, 2024, the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, met with students at the University of Warsaw.
The special guest at the University was welcomed by the Rector of the University of Warsaw, Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak and the Chancellor of the University of Warsaw, Robert Grey. The President of the European Parliament answered numerous questions from students, including: the future of Europe, the war in Ukraine, women in politics and support for European scientific research.

Rector of the University of Warsaw Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak presented the President of the European Parliament with the Medal of the University of Warsaw.
