Right on my man. I won't even watch regular media anymore because of the Watson situation. That entire situation was the most obvious smear campaign I've ever seen.

Watson has heart and has played injured many times going back to his college years. The only thing I want to see him change is to not put himself at such high risk of injury. He needs to ease up on putting his health at risk. He should see how that worked out for CAM. Cam could have been among the greatest of all time, but injuries shortened his career. And as a business, a longer career at QB can mean additional hundreds of millions in salary. Believe it or not, Cam is only 35 years old right now. And he was a physical phenom.

I don’t think he’s bad I just want to see him stay on the field and I’m not sure if he can be consistent. I do think if he’s healthy I think he’ll ball out. And DW loves the game he’s not sitting out and collecting his paycheck if he can help. Haters are gonna hate.

I trust in Watson and as long as he plays he’s my QB and he did show up against the ravens,he ran in a two point conversion on a high ankle sprain and that’s a tad painful He proved he was a franchise QB because of the Baltimore game and as long as he can stay healthy the better we will be✌🏻

Considering that Watson has only played a total of 12 games in the last two years and in that span his numbers were; 8-4 record, 2217 pass yards, 14TDs & 9ints I think its safe to say he's right on track as far as shaking off the rust. Actually, if he never injured the shoulder, he could've went on a tear last year and ended the season with over 4K yards pass yards and 30+TDs. And it's safe to assume the INTs would've went down as well as he played more defenses.

So to assume a healthy Watson would have produced isn't far fetched, because he only lost one gamr last season, and even thru injury anf pain he produced. @@jibbt4059

Eh, he showed 'flashes" of his old self before the suspension, but we haven't seen consistent play on the field, and we're going into year three. I also understand the "chemistry"/injury aspect, but Flacco came out of retirement and number wise was "sus", but he also was a winner with the same roster/ and far more exciting to watch...until he self destructed in the playoffs because of his style. As a 35+ year Browns fan, I'm fully behind him as our leader but injured or not his salary is an anchor, and this season if he doesn't perform for any reason will be met with negative responses.

Yo Q can you please explain to these guys how strength of schedule works. I am getting so tired of hearing "how easy the schedule was last year and how hard it is this year" all because preseason last year they had like the 26th ranked schedule. But then the games were played and in reality they had the 4th or 5th toughest schedule. I have to keep explaining this to people who refuse to accept reality. They just broken record say the schedule was easy last year because of training camp strength of schedule. I dont even think most people know what it means and how its calculated. They act like its some scientific formula that accounts for their current team. They dont kniw its based ONLY on win % of your opponents. Which literally means they had the 4th or 5th toughest schedule last year....NOT 26th. The entire AFC North was in the top 5 of toughest schedules last year....fans crying about how hard our schedule is this year are missing the point its based ONLY off last years win %

He never got "CHARGED" for anything "ILLEGAL", but was suspended for 🤷‍♂, for most of 2022, but was 3-3 with "1,102" passing yards. He was 5-1, with 1,115 before the injury last year. That is a 8-4 W-L record(4-2 win/loss ratio)(That's above 50%), with an average of 1,100 yards a season. This is based off of a 6 game average for the last 2 years, which is a 3rd of a season. On average, "statistically", a full season should look like 12-5, with 3,300 yards passing! At this point, they're just believers in untruths. Which is unfiltered fuel for haters. FOH!

My biggest question for Browns this year isn't Watson. It's did we figure out how to travel better as a defense? Our D was historically good at home...and kinda underwhelming on the road. Well underwhelming compared to at home anyway, they weren't awful or anything except a couple games. Everyone kept saying run game and defense travelled....I didn't see a lot of that personally.

I dare say he might wind up being RB 2/RB1 by the end of the season. He fits well with this new offense he can run EFFECTIVELY out of the gun and he can catch out of the backfield. I'm laser focused on him in preseason.....might be a real STEAL.

DW4 wasn’t bad last season. I would say he was a 6/10. The reason media members say he had a terrible season is because they are grading him on a 2020 Texans scale. Not a hot take but if he’s good the Browns will make the playoffs if not they won’t. The margin of error in the AFC is too close to expect a bad (or average) DW4 to make the playoffs.

I know you been waitin' for 2 years. Look at how well his mental reps were going. He was killing it. Look at all those long passes he didn't complete against no defenders in camp, he's killing it. Look at the Ravens game! The Ravens game! The Ravens game! Have I said it enough for you to believe yet? Please, you gotta buy into this sex offender now. We need to get behind him now if not you're not a true Browns fan! Blah, blah, blah. The dude ain't the one no more. The only things to save this season is Nick Chubb coming back and the defense. The 3rd would be for Huntly to have to come in and do what Flacco did last season.

I dont listen to any sports media anymore, but I have ZERO faith Watson will ever be good again. He had 2 years away from football before he played for us, which is NOT GOOD, and he was beaten down hard by the media into making it seem like he's a "terrible terrible person". That is enough to kill a player's confidence, on top of him being away for 2 years, then repeatedly getting injured, and can barely complete a pass when he's healthy.

If you extrapolate his stats last year to a full season. (Ignoring the fact that he never played enough consecutive games to really get into the Rhythm of a football season. The stats go to 3750 yards 24 TDs 10 ints which is a respectable season. On top of that the record goes to 13-4 which would've been the 1 seed. Saying he was bad last year outside of the Pittsburgh game is just incorrect. He wasn't world beating but he was absolutely not bad

Regarding the dink and dunk, if more folks looked at the games and not the highlights, they would know that dink and dunk is 95% of Mahomes games. It's all about playing to win the game and the best understand/understood that. One thing that I will say regarding Winston is his style doesn't really match Watson's and is honestly more closer to the prototypical Kubiak QB in terms of skillset. From 2015-2019, Winston was actually 4th in the league in pass attempts from under centers, and this was during the age of Big Ben, Brees, Brady, Manning, Rivers, etc. From the outside looking in, I'm still trying to make sense of it but hey, at the end of the day, yall got a good one.

@@GreenEyedRogue I love New England's former offense because it was more about exploiting weakness than it was the dink and dunk. Same with our offense (Saints) with prime Drew. Even though Drew was considered a gunslinger, Sean Payton knew how to scheme RBs into the pass game. There are very few, when given the opportunity, to exploit a defense. The problem with today's game is it takes so much out the QB's hand that we don't know who are actually skilled enough to do it. (A few have shown that ability when given it).
