It’s amazing to me how people are quoting the scripture about marking your temple buuuuuut in that SAME CHAPTER it also talks about not CUTTING YOUR HAIR! I remember I was visiting a church and a lady I never met a day in my life felt that she had to come up to me and point out my tattoo on my arm “Sweetie, you know what the Bible says about tattoos, right?” I looked her dead in her eyes and her bald head that she just had done and said “ yes ma’am, I do in the book of Exodus and did you know in that same chapter it speaks on not cutting your hair as well? I see you just left the salon. You have a blessed day!”

DenniesChild, my computer cut off...trying to share with you how my experience was like yous. When three mothers of the cogic church came after me about my platinum blonde hair. People forget to take that beam out of their eyes before removing the molt out of others!!! Like you, I had to remind them of all their crooked make-up eyeliner, and the purple hair from the rinse. When I had my hair that color, I did not make an excuse to why and what for, I am doing it The only person we have to answer to is our God! As I grew in the Lord, and wanted to get closer to Him and obey the word, plus if I were offending those I WANTED to correct it!!! I clearly never justify it doing what I felt vs. what the Bible said. When I looked more into my word in Leviticus 19:27-28, than I decided to change and follow after what the word says. DenniesChild while in my moments when I wanted to please me only I did them without trying to make them okay to do it nor going after people if I was messy my own self!!! God is the only one in my life according to His word, that has and continue to this day, to control what I do as I now live in the word!! Be Blessed!

Thankyou for your honesty!. I've been reading the messages...So, I always know a true Christian...the true Christian SHOWS you Christ and the acting Christian goes around telling everyone how to perform/act like a Christian. I LOVE how Ms.Kierra shows us the Christian in her (able to express regrets and growths) and always gives God the glory. I remember wearing a long dress to church once without a slip, and a sister chastised me about how ungodly I looked in sunlight...the next day, she showed up to choir rehearsal wearing tights and an witty bit T-shirt. I do the same thing in the winter. I give my toenails a break from polish, especially since I wear a lot of red polish on my toes and it tends to taint my toenails. Taking a break from the polish allows my toenails to return to their natural color.

Surprisingly, getting these tattoos helped cure my fear of needles. So much so, that I got my tongue pierced not that much later.
