This house just shouts „attention to detail“ in every nook and cranny - congratulations!

Usually all light colours and white walls everywhere look very dull and sterile but I have no idea how she designed it to end up being so cosy and comfortable. Great interior design created by a great designer and executed by great craftsman's.

I've been obsessed with HGTV and interior design for as long as I can remember. This home is probably one of the most beautifully designed that I have seen. While it isn't my personal style, it is so well decorated (obviously).

Would love to see your home at night and how the lighting works with your tones. It’s so lovely and airy, I wonder if it’s a completely different feel at night

I love that rustic lamp and the velvet Reese Sofa is STUNNING!

Maybe it's an interior designer thing( since I am too) but what is with people and not being able to tell their kids "No?" I have 4 grown BOYS....YES BOYS! I was still able to have beautiful things in my home and Nothing was really off limits to them but I taught them to respect what we had. It's really not that hard. What a beautiful home

You’re so right, Heidi Huiss I have always felt the same thing. As an interior designer and nanny, I know so much about kids, despite not having my own. I can guarantee that kids WILL do whatever they’re told, and I find they thrive with discipline and direction. Specially when raised to be respectful with both people and their own home. Nothing has to be off limits to them if they’re taught early to be mindful. I remember a few kids I cared for who literally destroyed their 2 floor townhouse home here in NYC every single day even after the housekeeper would leave it spotless, but despite my efforts to correct that, the parents themselves wouldn’t care or attempt to fix this. So the habit repeated daily. Mainly because they were not the ones cleaning the mess. It was either me or the housekeeper. Ultimately, kids are just kids and if as a parent one takes the time to teach them well, there’s no reason why they would ruin their home.

The way women obsess over letting their kids control their lives drives me crazy. My friends let their kids run wild at home and wonder how when they’re in my space they don’t. An I’m always like because I don’t play that s*** lol! I communicate with every child in my life ( my three best friends are 2 year olds lol ) how this is MY space and we need to treat my space with love and gently. 1. Because your Tina will lose her mind and you’ll get time out lol. And 2. Because it’s soooo nice to be kind to our things etc etc. And 3. Do I ever come mess up your room? We never have to talk about it again even as they age. My teen ( rental babies ) still to this day wouldn’t dare ruin my or anyone else’s things.

I agree but when I have very little a ones and they haven’t learnt yet -I just Put some stuff out of reach till I have a hold on it.I have very stubborn and clumsy kids too…They do eventually learn….

I love watching your show in Netflix. My kids love interior designing and they feel so inspired.

You guys never disappoint! Would love to see how you design a smaller space like an apartment!

Agree. Houses in Singapore relatively small only 1001sqft. I love your concept so much but dont know how to go about with my tiny apartment of 3bedroom.

I love the dimensions you have in this space, everything is scaled perfectly- you almost don't realise how grand the fireplace is until seeing it in perspective with a person! But it just all works together to create a beautiful homely space that doesn't feel dwarfed by the height of the room.

I just want to sit down in the middle of your room quietly for a few minutes and be an observer , absorb the essence of the room. Stand and walk slowly around this room not to miss anything architectural. I would take another walk around this room, slowly soak up your style and design of furniture, colors, shapes, layering of rugs, textures and then blissfully do it all over again! I love you white furniture, it seems so comfortable

I really love the light & airy open plan layout of the kitchen/lounge room & all the beautiful furnishings, they look casual yet still very stylish. I’m not such a fan of the extreme ceiling height as I think you can achieve the same open effect with just slighter higher than normal ceilings. For me personally I’d prefer 2 larger rooms containing both a lounge and family room rather than one smaller lounge room with height. But of course each to their own, it all comes down to personal taste afterall.

Hi from NYC. BEAUTIFUL DETAILS and obviously much thought were placed in your furniture selection. The living room is functional, elegant, and safe for children. However, how are do one change the beautiful lighting fixture bulbs and clean those windows?

OMG Inspiration!

Cuirous to see how in the US most people seem to like a TV on a crazy height (mostly above a fireplace) whereas in other places such as Europe it is crazy low. Overall very nice and zen place.

I love your style and the McGee & Co furniture & decor. I wish it was available in Australia.

I totally agree with the tv being over the fire place. You should only have one main focal point in a room, and the height doesn’t bother me either because our tv tilts down, so there’s no neck strain. I can see my tv from the kitchen as well.

My goodness! Every video is SO good!!!! I love it. One question I have, what is the size of your room and what size rug did you pick? I have a living area that is 17’x17’ and I’m not sure exactly what size rug to do!
