half of them, dude almost all of them die, like I can go on for minutes naming charaters who died, like really, zart ably winston jack frankie newt teresa rachel janson chuck jeff billy ben dave tim mary , it sucks but we can't be attached cause they die off so swiftly, (not even close to all the charaters by the way) :(

I did the math. About 40 kids were there when Thomas came. Add 12 for the gravestones, then 8 for a round number and to account to the ones without graves that died at the start. About 60. Times that by 2 for group b to get 120 graders. Group A had 4 survivors: Thomas, Minho, gally, and frypan. Group B had 3 survivors: Harriet (leader), Sonya (newts sis and second in command), and Aris. In total, that’s just 7. Out of a whole 120, only 7 survived. Let me say that again, out of a whole 120, that’s about 7 classes. That’s a huge amount of people. Now, out of those 120, out of that huge culture packed with brilliant kids, where it’d be an impossible task to really meet everyone, only 7 survived. 7. That’s far below a huge class of cultures. 7. That’s knowing everyone super well, a nice sized family. Instead of those huge groups that were further divided and then further devided. That’s pretty much all groups wiped out. That’s a 1 in 17 survival rate. Far beyond half I’d personally say, Oh, and should I say that about 80 were killed in a 60 day period? And for about 28 days, there probly weren’t even any deaths.
