Playing through this just makes me want an official Matrix game done in UE5. Wish you could fly a bit faster, recreate how fast Neo was going to save Trinity. Maybe even whip up cars if you flew close to the ground. So much potential with UE5!

This tech is available now clearly!!.. the next gen consoles are still too new to see what there really capable of due to the time games take to develop! we will see games like this within a year or two when they are made solely for next gen!!.. I mean, they did this with a file size under 30gb, wow!

It would be perfect if it were in 60fps. I'm not picky but 30fps is terrible especially for new-gen consoles.

In old games we were tricked with such Graphics in cut scenes but now they are the actual game, look how far we have come.

And now we have no loading times, in previous generations there was loading times everywhere especially during cutscenes. This is thanks to the PS5's M.2 SSD and the faster they become the more a game can load directly, you'll have an entire game world with all interior locations loaded all at once instantly the moment you enter the game.

@@milk0654 I think RDR 2 cut scenes are Rendered in Game Engine so they are kind of reltime. Call of Duty World War 2 is best example of fake cut scenes

I can't believe how good this looks! Some of the drone shots genuinely looked completely real and literally the entire beginning sequence I thought it was a video..

This game brings back amazing memories of the ps2 version. Such amazing quality for its time. It’s amazing to see the amount of changes that have been done over the years. Nice work Brad keep it up.

If GTA 6 doesn't come out looking like this or even better I don't know what they have been working on all these years. This looks disturbinly realistic!

Definitely a visual leap ahead of what we might expect of this gen, very exciting to imagine what lies in store for us. From the perspective of someone who's modded a few game engines enough to be fairly familiar with their limitations, I can imagine the next genuine quantum leap will be how much of the creation and seeding of worlds like this might be handed over to AI to create on-the-fly and with results sufficiently detailed that it seems as densely granular as something built by hand, and how much of the computational workload can be offloaded and served on demand rather than client-side.

Just watched a video before of that ai style mod applied to GTA. Seemed like a beta version but some very interesting results.

If this is already possible, we aren’t far off from a fully interactive, immersive physics based world with all buildings, vehicles and even utilities realised in almost perfect recreation. This is mind-blowing!

@GhoST Squad I disagree, GTA IV does not have good physics, and I'm tired of people saying it does. It has fun physics, not realistic. This game does have *more* realistic physics, but they're not "realistic", if you want realistic physics you should play BeamNG Drive.

@GhoST Squad Yeah but the thing is that you're wrong. When I was little, I looked at GTA IV physics like they were close to real life, but they aren't. When you get older you realise that sports and supercars don't slide on the road like they're on ice, bursting a tire doesn't make your car spin out of control, and when you crash your car it the parts don't stick out like spikes. Again, GTA IV physics are fun, not realistic.

The physics and destructions is satisfying. Nice work!

This is insane, looks like real life Just goes to show how far technology has come

Imagine when you will have a city like this in VR and you'll be able to fly around, I mean I can't even imagine.

Hopefully there’s no more Cyberpunk 2077 or GTA 3/VC/San Andreas Definitive level fuckups the rest of the decade… especially during release/launch… that alone has me worrying about the rest of Gen Z & upcoming Alpha. Back as a kid in the early-mid 2000s, either our parents bought a game or we scraped just enough allowance for a $40 videogame THAT. FREAKING. WORKED!!! And before that severely rushed Sonic game I heard about when the 360 launched, Sim City 4 had to be one of the worse off games of that time in terms of bugs… but it was still very much playable. Now, unfinished games seem to be getting more mainstream… and you’re potentially paying around $60 for it. BUY SELL TRADE STORES WITH ALL PAST GEN SHIT, WHAT’S GOING ON???

Now this is what I was expecting from next gen. Need to see this on a high end PC!

The character movements and details felt so real she does move like a real female the way the clothes fit and the way she opened the door of the car and entered! most game never get that part right. The environmental visual is incredible. Hellblade Senua Saga is using the same Unreal Engine looks Damn impressive too.

Firstly I thought I was actually like seeing a movie. Damn, this UE5 engine is the best graphics engine RN. I know there's also lots of things like Forza Horizon & RDR 2 but this game is Totally realistic. Those 2 games are like realistic but it is realistic & now some people will say if it's so good then why PES OR EFootball have trash graphics then. So, I will say it's Konami 's fault not UE4's & same goes to GTA Trilogy Remastered & it was Groove street games mistake not UE4's but if you guys see the facial textures in before PES Games then you will see that the facial textures looks so realistic but PES started downgrading from 2019.

Those cinematics are being rendered 100% in unreal 5 engine there is absolutely no video in that demo.

Stunning details! Holy crap, i’ve played this earlier on my ps5 and it was phenomenal. I’ve kinda wonder to see how a fully developed game would look like using this engine, we’ve got a lot to be expected in the gaming industry

The graphics, the dept of details is just on another frickin level Unreal engine 5 rocks.

Very good walk through to see and to know what's going on. They gave us a demo,but they probably have so much more, and we are just going to have to wait to get the cool stuff. Hell this is cool! 😃👏

Honestly if this was a game I’m all in but I learned not to trust tech demos just because they tell you what the technology can do does not mean we’re getting those type of games. They will still give us half assed games.

not to mention that this is super short and still takes up more storage than a good amount of games, it’ll definitely take another console generation to get stuff like this consistently

Remember it is 25.31 GB. For about 5 minutes of game play. A complete game like this could be a full terabyte. 🤯 Technology may be ready but NOT our pockets.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. The foundation for a whole game is already there. What's missing is pretty much just a story and I think the story itself isn't what takes up most of the space. It's the models, textures, lighting etc. which are pretty much already there. Now, I'm not a game developer so I don't know if I'm actually correct about this but I don't think a full game like this would be bigger than 100-200GB

@@AhmedAli-tp6bl At the Moment, yes. But who’s to say it will stay that way? ^^ Technology is advancing very quickly, I don’t think space is gonna be a problem in the future.

Crashing a car at high speed was my “Sold” moment on this demo. Wrecked hard and flipped over a barrier. It was sick!

I love the jokes about marketting. Very clever. It seems the crash physics are the hardest to get right. When the players car crashes into another vehicle it doesn't feel like the other car has any weight it just sort of bounces over the top even though it has some damage modelling. I would like to see some more intelligent AI with the vehicles. For example if you block a lane on the freeway the cars just stop and queue behind your blockade instead of going around it.

AMAZING

This game has so good graphics that even some films vfx are being overrunned, but honestly what im waiting for is real world driving simulator with whole world in it and these graphics

I understand this is the demo, so for the flying option, I really hope they’ll make it to where it’s on a third person mode to see the character fly and twirl like a super hero!!! That would be awesome to see!!!!
