    I teach to spend a lot of time practicing gliding from starts too. If you look at the fastest swimmers in the oceans, seals, sharks, dolphins, orcas they are all gliding a lot. Also if you kick off the side to glide and then swim underwater on one breath as far as possible just using slow leg kicks, this also super trains your lung strength and efficient oxygen use. 25 to 50 meters underwater on one breath using the glide position is a good target. Give it a month and you will be amazed at how the body adapts.

    Hi French Swim Coach, I love the videos they are very informative. Can you make a video about Cameron Mcevoy 50 freestyle technique? I think it is very brilliant how quickly he swims while using efficient bent arm technique.
