Hugo Hackenbush (Groucho Marx) is a veterinarian who masquerades as a lead doctor at Standish Sanitarium to aid the wealthy patient Emily Upjohn (Margaret Dumont). In order to save the financially failing sanitarium and its beautiful owner, Judy Standish (Maureen O'Sullivan), Hackenbush, employee Tony (Chico Marx) and jockey Stuffy (Harpo Marx) must find ingenious ways to help Gil Stewart (Allan Jones) and his inept racehorse, Hi-Hat, win the big race.

This was a good choice. Marx Brothers movies are acknowledged classic comedy, that actually stands up well today. They deserve a wider audience for generations to come.

Harpo is the brother seen here playing the flute. Chico played the piano, exceptionally well, I might add. I hope you get a chance to see the entire movie.
Alan Jones is the 4th man, the singer. He is not a Marx Brother. He was also in the previous Marx Brothers film "A Night at the Opera."
The Lindy Hop dancing was incredible and never gets old! 💃🕺.......All the Marx Brothers are great, but Groucho was just a comic genius!.....Inika, I'm glad you didn't flap your too hard, 'coz if you fly away there's no one to react to the rest of the movie! 😮🦋
What happened to the beginning? The actor who say,why it's Gabriel, has a little resemblance to Jamie Foxx
Sayin "The Marx Brothers" is the same as saying "Total Chaos."
Kind of left out a lot.
