Beast in the Marvels movie seems more like a live action version of the animated X-men beast. Even down to the Little teeth sticking out of the mouth and the round glasses. it might be the 2nd live action Animated x-men we see

Don’t believe the hype. This movie was a good ride, especially given what’s happening the the world right now. One of the major themes is a fantastic message for everyone. The amount of negativity that’s been projected onto the film vs. how it actually views is astounding, and really reveals the intention behind some of these KZread review channels. All I have to say is figure out a way to see the Marvels for yourself, because it is a key connector between the present and future threads of the unfolding Marvel cinematic universe. Also, very nice work, Mr. Mountain (MT)-keep it goin’.

@stephenwalk2186 just a bit, but I would have leaned into the whole disney princess aspect of it and have some ugly ass alien birds fly around Carol during the singing portion just as a small gag. What I would have liked is a guardians of the galaxy cameo since they're space related and just to see rocket and the new gang again to perhaps help during the fight on the musical planet , and to give some kind of Male energy since they didn't introduce Blue Marvel.

New rock starz changed there full time employees the main ones to like a part time thing or something to were it took away there med benefits and I’m sure there was other stuff too going on but they didn’t take it and moved on. And it’s honestly for the better. I like MT on heavy spoilers better. I feel like he can be more of himself and do way better breakdowns.

I wonder how much these breakdowns take away from the box office numbers…might not be much but it’s gotta be something.

Especially this movie, the director doesn’t give characters no Justice at all. The young actress who play Ms Marvel has been great in spite of the shaky direction. Give her a proper director that does her justice.

What If is not canon to the universe that the MCU takes place in, they're based in different universes so even if they continue the story of Monica it will only be canon if the universe that the episode takes place in is the MCU's (which none of them have been so far)

Something that is cool to think about is that Kamala has those powers due to a combination of her mutant ability and the bands, which keans it's possible when the bands leave Kamala she'll still have the abilities to some degree as well as giving the new users a different powerset :(

I disagree. I think Marvel needs more drama and stakes. Most marvel movies are comedies or comedy lite. Considering what they are leading up to is a pretty serious event, things should be getting serious as well. Marvels best movies were ones where there was emotional investment, drama and stakes. Things these new movies severely lack.

The problem with the film is that the plot can be solved through communication. The severity of the situation is clouded with comedy. They are trying to turn serious events into comedy too much and musicals lol

I don't know if its just me, but I'm having trouble following all the characters' intersecting plotlines. Monica Rambeau's story, Captain Marvel's story, the Kang variant in antman, He who remains, Loki's backstory, the variant of he who remains, the bangles in The Marvels, the Dar Ben character, how exactly Captain Marvel did the whole sun resurrection thing, the whole skrull refugee situation, Ms Marvel's backstory with the alternate timeline time dimension whatever she does. The way everyone's powers work, the Vision and Doctor Strange situation, Dark Wanda Crimson Witch, the Spider-Verse, the new captain america situation I don't understand that either. Like it's not really tying together in a cohesive way, it feels kinda spliced and splotched and random. I've been watching these videos and other youtube videos, and following all the series - it's just kinda too much. She Hulk, I had no idea what on earth that plot was about to be honest. It's all over the place, too many movies, too many series. Oh, Black Panther 2 and the aquatic people. They need to simplify it, and streamline. Kree, Skrull, Flerkins, Aquatic Aztec people, purple bangles, quantum entanglement, quantum world, time travel, time incursion, the loom, branching timelines, TVA. Loki is great, but I'm just not sure how all these elements really make sense anymore. At least with the Thanos storyline there were the core Avengers cast, and a common threat which was Thanos. This multiverse doesn't feel like any of the characters are a core or have a base.There's no emotional connection to a group. Maybe one person likes Carol Danvers, or someone likes Loki, but its hard to be invested in the collective story. Unlike with Iron Man, he was kind of the "main character" or "leader" of the Avengers. In this the "leader" is Nick Fury, and his story didn't make much sense in the Secret Wars. None of it makes sense.

As I thought, its one of those forgettable MCU movies. I fell asleep for most of the runtime. But the only good thing about this movie was Kamala and her family. And that mid-credit scene.

Omg I love MT’s voice (as an American who loves Paul but struggles w his accent lol)

I found this movie rather entertaining. Lots of laughs and good (and sometimes actually creative) action sequences. The main characters played off each other really well and the acting was respectable. The movie also had a positive message and was generally pretty positive overall. I think a lot of people would find they actually like this movie if they'd stop listening to everyone online who loves being negative whenever possible for whatever reasons, justified or otherwise. Also I won't lie, I thought the singing planet sequence was great😂. Wish they sung some harmonized battle song during the fight.

"Mid" Credit scene is spot on; this was so boring and just desperate.

I’m just going to see these films for the end credits at this point.

This movie was everything I wanted going into it personally. I had fun. Haven’t had fun watching many MCU movies since Endgame. I left the theater with a big smile on my face. Iman Vellani is a star and whoever casted her needs a raise. She is simply incredible. To each their own and the movie was by no means perfect.. but I liked it a lot more than I thought i would.
