I will look forward to Marvel's Venom if they release it for the PS4 Slim. I would like to see Edward Brock as Venom and Harry Osborn as New Goblin. It would be cool to see Edward Brock swap between two Venom forms from the SWAT version like Gotham Knights with their gadgets and combat style to the Lethal Protector with the combat style like in Spiderman's shattered dimensions when he was facing Deadpool with the symbiote suit. 🙂🐵🙏

Black and white are always a classic combo. And while many comic characters go through redesigns once in a while to freshen things up, Venom doesn't change designs unless the host is different. The look is just that popular.

A Prototype style game with Venom filling in the gaps between act 2 and 3 of SM2 would be great considering how fast the invasion happens.

Yeah in the test footage of SM2 the environment was a little more destructible tbh, I bet they’ll do that in the Venom game.

Insomniac once again carrying the ps5 generation with their output of games. Really think more studios should do what they are doing with launching smaller games in between big ones.

The SM games are kinda mid tho, for what a good developer Insomniac is What Guerrilla cooked in 5 yrs plus the DLC is much more impressive

I hope we see a smaller venom with the host of Eddie Brock’s, who uses more web abilities and crawls and walls just like spiderman, to make it more accurate

I feel like if they do the Venom game, they will make the villains the life foundation symbiotes. In the comics they used Venoms cut off tongue to make them. In spiderman 2 Kraven cut off Venoms tongue, and you can actually see it on the ground too. The only flaw to this theory is Scream was in Spiderman 2. So I don't know if they would just introduce another one. Nice video though dude

If there is a venom game. There should be suits like venom 2018. venom spiderman 2. or like the wbs venom suit. and ultimate venom suit.

For see a reveal trailer or a gameplay trailer of Venom's game it's too early. I don't think it will happen on the leaked ps showcase of May, maybe at the end of the year

Can we just pet insomniac do what they want to do? Stop pushing them. Their first Spider-Man game was a HIT and everyone complained about the puddles not being puddley enough. Like damn just appreciate what we got! We got probably a top 3 reinvention of the Spider-Man character and world. And we got to PLAY it. Spider-Man 2 elevated the combat and the Swinging. But lacked in 2 things. Length of game and its like they nerfed peter to make miles more prevalent why can’t they have an 80 hour game with both spider-men having two full stories? Id wait for it bc it would be WORTH it.

Half of what you said contradicts the other half. Insomniac wanted to lose dev time with Miles and they're more than fine with having you pay big bucks for small games, why're you pushing them into making bigger games? Yes, a full game would be worth it for you, but for them it's not worth the trouble of making a full, fleshed out story if they can sell you a short one for the same price. They can even sell you dlc as a "new game" like they did with Miles and will do with Venom, so the faster they can pop them out, the more money they make.

i think they should also make a stand-alone silk game when she gets her powers similar to miles

It would be super interesting if the Carnage DLC involved the "good guys" just completely losing (perhaps Anti-Venom isn't as effective against Carnage as it was Venom since it was "born" from a different symbiote) and then the Spider-men have to resort to using Venom, with this case Miles being infected (or they release Venom, the attack on the Bugle happens, and Eddie Brock gets infected).

I hope we'll see a pumped-up big Venom Harry. I don't want a semi-symbiotic spider-man flying around our city again. All my life I dreamed of swinging on the web like a huge monster in a game. Like in the comics.

I really hope Venom can both web swing and charge jump.... Ultimate Spider-Man just had him jumping. Insomniac's Spider-Man 2 just had him jumping(not even charged). I think it'd be cool to see him maneuvering around with a mixture of moves.

The problem is that the venom symbiote died at the end of the game so idk how they can make a story. It's impossible (and would be kinda boring) to make a game about what he did in sm2 from his perspective

The Venom game/dlc is definitely the insomniac leak that I’m hyping the most. I really prefer and want it’s story to be like this, and sorry for the essay: We see a glimpse of the story behind the symbiotes, Knull, the meteorite that had Venom, and Venom’s children. This will be very vital as it will answer the 5 biggest questions that form SM2’s symbiote arc: Does Knull have a connection to Venom’s meteorite? How did Venom amplify the hive mind of symbiotes with the rock? Does every symbiote get their hive mind-abilities genetically from their father Knull? Did Venom and some of the well-known symbiotes and children of venom (like maybe Carnage, Toxin, Riot, etc)? And will Knull and his army invade Earth after feeling Venom’s death? I would also like them to add anti-Venom as a playable character. We played as Venom, Peter with Venom in him, and Peter with the anti-Venom suit which we never expected to happen. Now, we need to try anti-Venom’s abilities and see what he can and will do to Venom and the other symbiotes outside of Peter’s body (specifically to Carnage as there’s a big chance he will come in the next game/dlc after the whole “Flame” mission).

This time venom will actually heal the world😂😂

If this does really come out then maybe Carnage will be the main story for the game because the flame quests. It’s possible that it connects with the Venom game considering they never actually showed the symbiote burning or dying it just flopped with the rest of the symbiote, it can be that he goes into eddies body and the story goes from there. I can accept Flash Thompson as Agent Venom in this universe, since Eddie Brock is the Venom in Sonys movies.

I'll still play the Venom game no matter who it is, but I'm really hoping Eddie Brock will be the protagonist. I've always loved Eddie's character and consider him the only true Venom in my eyes (no disrespect to Flash Thompson, he'd make a cool Agent Anti-Venom). They have the opportunity to introduce him and I know Insomniac has been hearing just how many people want to see him brought in true-to-form to the comics.

The tongue is a direct reference to the comics where a Venom variant was spawned after Venom's tongue was cut off and experiments were ran on it. Cletus acquiring the symbiote means someody else could have it too or Cletus can lose it after being defeated as Carnage

Yes I want him to be able to switch between military kinda combat as either flash who would probably be able to be playable because he is a military soldier so he could definitely be sorta like red hood in a way that he actually kills people and uses all military and or Eddie then transforms secretly into venom or agent venom and goes all out badass mode on em and shoots and webs em all in to a takedown

I hope the villain is of better quality than of miles morales (literally could have not died if she listened to her best friend once or ran the numbers again and is just kinda unlikable due to beating miles to near death (reminder she wouldn't know how much of a punch he could take or about the regeneration factor)) Also could someone send me the link to that venom power sheet shown in the video?

Harry still has left over symbiotes in him introducing eddie wouldn't make any sense he has 0 connections to spiderman and he doesn't hate him harry could still be redeemed as the lether protector plus harry would still need the symbiote to live peter can't give anti venom symbiote to harry because it's apart of his braincells

We got Venom coming out before the new Wolverine game then once Wolverine releases there’s supposed to be a Marvels Spider-Man 3 THEN after that 😭😂 there’s apparently a X-Men Game to Be Released sometime 2030 and of course we already know about 1943 Rise of hydra and the Xbox Exclusive Blade so I think it’s more than safe to say Marvel loving console player’s gone be eating ridiculously good soon 😂

They need to bring spiderman 3 first before these random projects tbh and it doesn't have to be 4 more years ...

Yeah plus assuming it coming out and takes place before Marvels Spider-Man 3, Harry coming out of that coma would ruin Norman Osborns motivation for going after Spider-Man, so unless they plan on introducing Eddie Brock or Flash Thompson to take up the mantle, I don't see how it could work.
