The Martinez Brothers are two of the most recognizable global stars in house, techno, and club culture. Introduced to disco and house music by their father from a young age, they come from the roots of New York's legacy club, The Paradise Garage. While known for producing club records heavily supported throughout the scene and DJing extended marathon sets, in 2014 they also founded their record label, Cuttin' Headz. Since first hitting the road at ages 15 and 17, they have gone on to perform around the world regularly selling out some of the largest venues and hosting stages at the biggest global music festivals. Despite a global tour schedule, The Martinez Bros have stayed true to the NYC culture that raised them. Authenticity is everything; it’s clear why these two are the leaders within dance music's new guard.

I grew up on this type of House Music when I was so young. From my Father showing me Naked Records & Objectivity. Artists like Miguel Migs, Dennis Ferrer, Sonny Fodera, Marquess Wyatt, David Harness.. maannn the list goes on. This mix right here really takes me back to my diaper days.
Not everyone understands house music, it's completely a spiritual thing!!! and it's composed by abstract sounds that make your spirit go wherever you want!! most of the times this wounderful sessions are too deep for normal people!! just learn how to appreciate every sigle sound that compose every song and you are going to have a trip inside the music universe!!!

My god, what happened to the days when people went dancing and it was about the music? Now its about being seen, posturing, taking pics and selfies, and putting a hand in the air because the DJs do., and a bunch of zombies watching a DJ touch 300 knobs per song and mix like they are having a huge effect on the music instead of just mixing. Its like no one breaks a bead of sweat from dancing at these events because they are too cool for that. These are great to listen to, but hard to watch

Always had a question, probably you guys can help me out. How does a Dj know, what kind of music they will be playing during that specific event? I have seen many different styles from these great guys (This one sounds to me like Louie Vega, retro house), also from: Capriatti, J Jones, Seth Troller. Any ideas??

depends the time of the day, the crowd, the venue, and what show they'll play at. Lab is more of a intimate show so they are playing groovy deep house. If they were to play at lets say, EDC then they will play some more upbeat tech house
