I was a Poly Cheerleader in 1965-1966! We loved dancing the Poly Blues and singing the school song. We were proud of the band and loved each member. Friends Forever! Precious Memories.

I graduated in 1962. Was lead trumpet and enjoyed playing the fanfare on the herald trumpets. Couldn’t see them on the video. Also, we had 8 killer tuba players. Didn’t see 8 on the video. The 2 parade stand by tunes I can still play to this day. I also play the Poly Blues solo every New Years Eve. Brought back many happy memories. Thank you for the post.

Was a member of the Marching 100 in 1964-1965. We were so proud of our band and it showed in our performances. I think one of the drum majors was Pat Aycock, but I don't remember who our male drum major was .

Thanks so much for posting this.It was great to see the Marching 100 again ( even if the video and sound was not great). The Poly Marching 100 will forever be the best Fort Worth High School Band in history.I graduated from Poly in 1964.It would be great if you or anyone else could post more performances of the Poly Marching 100 from the 50's and 60's.I am especially interested in hearing the song that the Marching 100 always led off with when they performed at half-time at the football games.
