You nailed it, very fair revue,

You're def not alone man, I love this album too. I was actually a bit disappointed first listen because it wasn't as poppy as their previous releases (stand out tracks for me are carino, I don't know you and un million), and it also had less spanish I think, I rly enjoy the bilingual ""gimmick"". But on fourth listen it rly clicked with me, the post break up atmosphere that they're going for just works, the album rly sounds "submarine", like she's trying to swim upwards towards a new chapter in her life. Context shouldn't be everything but I loved the detail of founding out that the break up is in fact with a member in the band! I mean imagine the writing process. And like you say the vocals are just awesome, seductive almost, and everything just sounds so damn clean.
