For me, its hard to classify FF7 Remake as a “remake” because it feels like a whole different game. Sure the story has the same beats, same characters, but the experience I am getting from it differs from the OG FF7 experience I received. Great video dude

I'm surprise that no one adopts the term "reimagining" because that it is pretty much what half of FF7R is (the other half is sequel). Same goes for Resident Evil "remakes" that isn't RE1.

Your are correct Luigi’s mansion 2 and dkc returns he aren’t worth the $40 price tag. More like $20. Which makes it even more insane when you realize the actual price is $60 for these. 🤦🏾‍♂️

The Crash Team racing remake is good, but they made unnecessary changes to a couple of tracks that annoyed me... Ah well 😏

To be fair FF7R isn’t a remake it’s a sequel.

Personally, I don’t mind Considering some introduced me to franchises I never played before for the first time like resident evil remakes it was the first time I play resident evil game, which was resident evil 2 remake which cost me to become a resident evil fan and now I finish resident evil 2 and 4 planning on playing 3 also played the dead space remake which I did play The original never got to finish the original and I love it as well and I played Final Fantasy remake, which caused me to try the other games like 15th and 16th and also 14, which I probably put like 100 hours on that MMO and did play demon souls remake which I did play the original as well from the PS3, but I was an little boy who did not have a functioning brain so I could not get past the literal tutorial and around 2021 I finally played the remake and beat the game twice. Put like 200 hours in it so my experience with these remakes has been well planning on playing more like shadow colossus Also, I think remakes can also help with with people who are interested in the older games but are frustrated with the outdated potentially game mechanics controls, or other stuff But I do knowledge bad remasters or remakes like Star Wars battlefront classic collection Also I’m pretty sure the last of us part 2 remastered is more like a DLC but still unnecessary remaster

Yeah it’s a really good way to experience older games since they tend to be more polished it’s just the ones that are clearly made to capitalise on nostalgia with a poor remake

Personally, mine has been the horror remakes like resident evil, dead space also did like demon souls and now I’m planning on trying persona 3 reload next’s and shadow of colossus A remake or reboot I would personally love to see is lost planet but if it doesn’t get remake is perfectly fine
