I have the quickie 2 such a good wheelchair
I loved my quickie 5R when I was a kid and teen but with being a bit taller and heavier I can't wait to get my quickie 2
My wife has been in a chair for 45 years. We’ve been married 40 of those so she’s been through a lot of chairs. She started with a dinosaur Everest and Jennings scissor fold chair to her current Quickie Q7. I just replaced the fork bearings and boy was that a job. Thanks to Quickie for a quality product and Southwest medical where I ordered the parts for a quick shipment. 😊👍

That's what's up man! I thought I was the only one to swap fork bearings multiple times.. lol. And I wanted to ask about Southwest medical.. is this a place I can look into also? Thanks
Awesome Christi and Jenni Thank you for sharing!! As someone who is not in a wheel chair but of course have had to use/rent one at times and someone else has had to assist in pushing, this appears to maybe allow my independence huh? Or ability on my own?:) Love, Love and wander if something Medicare would approve of course?
I love my quickie qri manual wheelchair
Thanks for history.
I've bought quickie chairs for years, got a xenon 2 ff at the moment. but the best I had was the first one called a quickie 2 millennium high performance, wish they still did that one, unless they do in the US? I'm in the UK.
My first Quickie was an R2, it was indestructible & weighed 21 lbs. My second and current chair is a Q7, weighing in at 14 lbs I can sum it up one word - "Junk." It's broken 4 times in the 7 years I've owned it, 3 of those times causing it to go back to the factory for repair. Their claim that the frame is guaranteed for life doe not include the axle plate assembly. My left side one recently broke...and replacement parts alone were going to cost me almost $500.00 because the chair was over 5 years old. I had the part welded instead for only $20.00. Bottom line - when you reduce the weight of the chair you lose strength & durability.

What year did you get your q7? I’m waiting on mine to come in, hoping they’ve made updates

Richard Valdivia: I bought it in 2011. I know they did update the angle supports that hook the bottom of the backrest to the seat. They changed them from some type of plastic to a metal composite. I haven't had any more issues since I posted my comment 2 years ago. Hopefully you'll have better luck with yours than I did with mine.
question dose any company make a wheel chair that will fit the area in therearof a chevy trax

You should call a seating and mobility clinic, such as NSM. It is very expensive, mine costs $12,000. It is also very difficult to get insurance to cover.
I hate the name! Enough people will stare or talk behind your back enough with out being considered to be a pervert.
