Those extra storm troopers were not part of the crew they are this awesome star wars fan group and they go on conversations and parade , their suit is exact replica of orignal trilogy Showrunners requested them to be on set for scene without telling them what the scene was about

not just fan group. this is the 501st legion. it's a fan group that does volunteer charity jobs. it's actually pretty difficult to get into their ranks. in order to be a member you need to have empacable cosplay suit for villian character (mostly it's stormtroopers and emperial officers) and you need to be able to go to events at first call there is also rebel legion, pretty much same thing only you cosplay good guys

Gideon/Gus is awesome. The soldiers with black armor are Death Troopers. There are only a few of them but they are very dangerous. They are imperial, not first order.

The black armoured storm troopers are called Death Troopers. They're supposedly surgically enhanced so they can take more punishment and, unlike most stormtroopers, they have good aim. They're considered "beyond human"through this enhancement. We've only seen them in one other film though, "Rogue One".

Ig-11 and mando is going be pissed in next final episode We will finally have a good Terminator 🤣🤣🤣

This is the first time Force Healing is done in live action canon. also completely unrelated... in reply to @ 24:10 the reference (or rather "connection") between this episode and Rise of Skywalker is the thing that happens to the "snake". **edited to be more vague.

Gus wasn't the person who was standing over the dead lady at the end of episode 5. That person had spurs and different shoes (others have already compared them to Gus). It's someone else and whoever it is will likely be the tease at the end of the finale episode.

Watch it again before the next episode. Quiil was almost there, and the storm trooper did not pull up to retretrieve the child until Quiil and the blurge were down.

Fun fact.. all the stormtroopers you see aren't actors, they are cosplayers. The creators didn't have enough trooper outfits to shoot how they wanted to shoot and put out a call, and a group of stormtrooper cosplayers (I forget the name.. like, unit 71 or something with a number) put on their suits and went out to shoot this. I think they weren't even paid much more than food and travel and board. But their unit is now officially part of Star Wars cannon because of this!

After what Baby Yoda does, it makes sense now why they released this episode before the Rise of Skywalker.

It's already canon that some jedi are healers, isn't it? I think they were mentioned in TCW and several books, but it's always a rare ability, something not many jedi were able to do.

What color is the lightsaber being questioned? It's difficult to tell in the video due to the room lighting. If it's green, then it is Luke's from ROTJ. If it is blue, then it's Obi-Wan's from ANH. Obi-Wan has a different lightsaber in the prequels. Luke's ROTJ saber looks similar to Obi-Wan's ANH saber. Also, Obi-Wan's ANH saber isn't as well recognized as his prequel saber, so that could be where a lot of the confusion is coming from.

I, too, think of Lil Gideon every time I hear it in this show 😂

Death troopers were part of the empire - elite guards of moffs, grandmoffs or the legendary grandadmiral thrawn is probably were most people know them from (star wars rebels when it comes to tv but in ALOT of books and comics)

Weird continuity when space Gus shows up! In the hologram he's standing and before the shooting starts you see him doing what looks like to be a hand gesture for the Death Troopers to start firing... All of the sudden he shows up in a Tie Fighter as if he wasnt there, also, even if the hologram was from before he arrived where were he? How fast would it be for him to talk via Hologram, get in a tie fighter and fly all theway ovher there?

When he lands the TIE (TIE Outland by the way) and the canopy whens you see him raising standing up .. so my guess is that he can stand up inside the TIE.. or maybe he was just outside the city landed alongside the troop transport and waiting for the death troopers to wipe the area.. yeah i know its a long streeth.. still minor issues compared to what the movies have done
