CLIP DESCRIPTION:
James Bond (Roger Moore) questions custom weapons manufacture, Lazar (Marne Maitland).
FILM DESCRIPTION:
The Man With the Golden Gun, Roger Moore's second outing as James Bond (Live and Let Die was the first), whisks our hero off to Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, and then the South China Sea in search of a solar energy weapon. His opponent is Scaramanga (Christopher Lee), who rules the roost on a well-fortified island. Scaramanga's aide-de-camp is Nick Nack, played by future Fantasy Island co-star Herve Villechaize. Britt Ekland plays the bikinied Mary Goodnight, whose clumsy efforts to help Bond thwart Scaramanga are almost as destructive as the elusive solar device. The Man With the Golden Gun was adapted by Richard Maibaum and Tom Mankiewicz from Ian Fleming's last James Bond novel, which had to be published posthumously in "rough draft" form.

"So speak or forever hold your piece." This has to be one of the most badass lines from Moore's Bond. Funny but lethal at the same time

Lead is also a pretty soft metal. Even softer than gold, I think, but it was used for bullets for a very long time. Steel-jacketed bullets are a relatively high-performance option; in that case a lead core is usually retained because of its density, which improves ballistics. But gold is even denser than lead, which would improve the ballistics even more - which is probably why Scaramanga uses them.

@@Kromaatikse Steel jacketed bullets are a cheap option, typically only used by former Soviet block munitions plants. They are not usually very accurate, but there might be exceptions. Lathe-turned solid copper bullets are probably the highest performance option.
