First, I wanted to say thank you for being respectful. Far too many videos are made about me with the focus being shock value/click bait. Secondly, the way it was explained to me is that I did actually start puberty at a normal age but due to nonexistent FSH/LH my testosterone levels were too low to complete puberty. In regards to sexual development this meant my testes never grew to a "normal size" (and won't without FSH/LH replacement). The comment about "not seeing growth" was taken out of context as well. The statement was that since my teens I hadn't seen any growth meaning I had prior. I did have issues maintaining erections due to lack of hormones. My penis size is well within the range of "normal." There's a lot of context that was left out in the videos you watched. The full episode was ~40 minutes in length and is no longer available. The videos on Dr. Aaron Spitz' channel is ~2/3 of the full episode. About 3 hours of footage was actually filmed over a 2.5 day period and trimmed down from there. Questions were asked but were cut due to time limitations or weren't asked at all. I also didn't bring up a lot of topics because I hadn't slept in nearly 30 hours. For example, I was married and divorced long before ever going on the show. Prior to being on the show I had been homeless for ~5 years. In addition to this I had lived in over 20 homeless shelters before the age of 12. After the show I continued to live with my disabled mother. They had arranged for me to see Dr. Edward Kim at the University of Tennessee but I didn't have reliable transportation so I never visited him. Due to this I could not start consistent treatment until 3 years later. I have now been on TRT for a little over 7 years My other health problems weren't mentioned on the show as well. I've dealt with severe muscle spasms my entire life. In the last three years I've torn 5 muscles. (Soleus on my left leg twice. gastrocnemius on left leg, and both soleus and gastrocnemius on my right leg) I have celiac disease and microscopic colitis. Both of which went undiagnosed until 2 years ago. (Coltiis being Feb 2023) Due to these and lack of hormones I've dealt with severe chronic fatigue. When the show was filmed I was extremely depressed and anxiety was rampant. More often than not I'd have a panic attack just going to the grocery store. With all that said I have seen some improvements over the last year. I am on a very restrictive diet now but still have flareups every week. I still have headaches and migraines but they are less frequent. (From Sept/Oct I went 42 days straight with either a headache or migraine but average 1-2 a week now.) I don't know if the muscle spasms are improving due to my stomach finally healing or if it's just a lull period but I have had a very limited amount of "severe" cramps in the last 3 months. Anxiety and depression still exists but it's far more manageable now.

It's truly commendable for Brandon to share his personal struggles on such a public platform. His journey sheds light on a critical issue that some individuals have to deal with and offers a sense of hope that treatments exist. His courage and perseverance are admirable, and his story serves as a reminder that we all have unique paths and challenges in life. I wish Brandon all the best as he continues his journey.

Good video. I have this condition myself. I started HRT when I was 20, now I'm 23. I have to say a few things as a person who also has this condition.Kallmann Syndrome is congenital condition. It cannot be cured, but the treatment is very simple and a normal life is very possible with correct treatment. Testosterone replacement therapy can be practiced in the form of injections, as I practice,in the form of gels, patches, I'm not sure if I left something out. TRT still won't give fertility, for that you need a treatment called gonadotropin therapy and the chances of success are very high. Parents, talk to your kids. There is nothing vulgar about health care. Doctors, please take a more serious approach to this segment of health, don't get over the fact that someone doesn't develop in the same way as others and leave such people to themselfs. There is nothing shameful about this condition. It is better to ask why this man did not get help until he was 16-17 years old. Constructive and healthy communication is the key to solving any problem. For patients with this condition, be you, not the condition you were born with. No one can take that away from you.

@@androgameplay1582 A KS patient fails to hit puberty because the pituitary gland secretes a very small amount of gonadotropins, namely LH and FSH. LH (in men) stimulates the testicles to produce testosterone, while FSH is responsible for spermatogenesis. A KS patient can be on testosterone therapy only, which will enable virilization of his body as well as normal sexual function, but without gonadotropin, his testicles will never mature and produce sperm. Gonadotropin therapy involves taking hCG, which imitates the function of LH, and hMG, which imitates FSH function. Pure FSH can also be taken instead of hMG, but it is much more expensive. These hormones are taken in the form of injections, 2 or 3 times a week.

Wonderful video. Testosterone and Estrogen in puberty actually stop you from growing. That's why he's so tall, because he didn't get that steady release of Testosterone that slowly stops the growth and closes the growth-plates and starts to mature everything else.

there is no natural testosterone boosting supplement man, and no your height will not stop doing anything like working out etc. Of course a major injury can. You can indirectly use supplements to increase testosterone like zinc, magnesium and ashwagandha, shilajit ( I don't personally recommend ashwagandha or shilajit as it kinda flared up my gyno but some say it depends on people) @@OGMemesWala

I went through this. I was a few months past 14 and nothing. I made a flippant comment at dinner one night (I wish something of mine would grow) and the very next day my father had me in front of a urologist. That led to 12 months of growth hormone injections. I was physically underdeveloped as well as lacking genital growth and masculine traits. All good after. I hated my father for forcing me to have all those shots (in my butt 2x a week) until this moment watching this video. That was 56 years ago. No under arm gels, patches, etc., back then. Wow. Poor kid, but glad he solved the problem.

I'd get him on 200-300mg testosterone enanthate a week for about 2-3 years as well as some HCG to develop his balls and to heighten is LH while training in a powerbuilding-like program focusing on strength to near failure with primarily lower reps and 4-5 sets per exercise with a main focus on compounds. After this maybe just get him on 100-150mg test a week and or just a tolerable amount of HCG to maintain high and healthy within range test levels with a boost of LH if HCG is included. The HCG may even allow him to be fertile. I'd also get him some minoxodil to encourage rapid body/facial hair growth.

You typically don't prescribe the two together as they basically work against each other. HCG would be the preferred treatment for natural testosterone production and fertility.

@@BrandonWestfall I've heard of doctors prescribing both of them but at lower doses. Some prescribe just test, some HCG. HCG is probably more beneficial if it's well tolerated for hypogonadism. I still think 1-2 years blasting "sports trt" doses of test with a tiny bit of HCG would be more positive than negative for him, under doctor's supervision with a good diet of course.

@@BrandonWestfallnope… hcg is extremely beneficial to run on hrt because it stimulates neurosteroid production and keeps the ol nuts on. Not sure how this would work for someone like brandon because his testosterone deficiency is caused by a pituitary tumor and not varicoceles or just bad genes
