This is the most relatable interview, a generation of girls have gone through the same issues that she called out, it's so obvious how deep is the conditioning. And the sad part is knowing or unknowingly we are taking these misogynistic thoughts ahead . It will take some conscious effort to break the wall and think before we speak to young girls that do things differently than us.

I am sorry but I am so happy and relieved to know you have also faced the same difficulties or say still facing difficulties and insecurities like me or most of us out there, I want a part two where you can discuss how to step by step overcome this scenarios.

A feedback for interviewer….the interview doesn’t seem a conversational flow. It feels more like some preplanned questions are thrown one after the another to the interviewee. A flow is missing. Also you shaked hands with the same hand with which you scratched your feet. A little unhygienic! Apart from that, liked Dolly’s openness on the interview.

Aesa hua h ki tumhara favourite word war- no. And then tumhari mummy dheere se chhup k cheenti kaatti thi ki bolo yes. Bhakk. So weird. 😂 Nhi ladko ko bhi milta tha sunne. Aese gaon me jab ladke "chhust pants" pehen k nikalte toh daadi naaniyan bol deti ki "jujjikass (bra) pehen k ghoom ra h". My mum was like, tum aurat ho Jo suit salwar pehnogi? Jeans peheno ... (Fir ek din suit hi to pehenna h) mtlb.. wd the narrative ki ek din yhi pehenna h.. which is.. weird because u can look indecent even in a saree. N u can look very decent even in a jeans. Glamorous or fashionable and vulgar are two different things. Nhi, mekko periods hote thhe to mujhe dard itta hota tha n I was still a kid 13 ish to mere poore colony ko pta chal hi jata tha ki I'm down😂... If ur 18, n ur boyfriend tells u, don't be stupid. If ur 25, n ur husband tells u, think about it. But if ur my age, u can do as u please. 😂 We were like..... Cz Im towards the wheatish texture n skinny but more like women wanted to be skinny, until I met some of my folks from my hometown who themselves are brown but think they're not cz comparatively the rest are brown-er. Which is so funny.. ki mtlb.. it's so lame. But that's very much the truth that is very prominent there. Ladkiyan khud brown hn aur same skin waali k samne khud ko fair smjhti hn becz I dunno kya reason h. Technically North India k alawa everyone is the same skin tone here which gets richer as u go south. N body type, I've seen many women envy me so Im least bothered. Some have even put in efforts after coming in contact with me to 'appear better ' which makes me sad becz it gives off the vibe that u never liked urself. Agar shyd main co-ed me hoti to ye feeling mujhme bhi hoti... But when ur so surrounded by women everywhere, u don't even give a fuck. 16 yr old ko- it will grow. 😂 N it will come to use more than u think. (Actually, lot of women would say this) I would say that, pta nhi sahi hi chal ri thi main..
