I would agree with this. But I will also say that Holland never really got great movies. He got very different movies from what Tobey and Andrew got. Holland did great in No Way Home, you kind of got a glimpse of his talent when fighting with the Goblin. Not sure. If Holland got Andrew's movie I think he would be pretty good honestly.

Marc Webb is an amazing director (pun very intended). 500 Days of Summer is one of my favourite films ever. His films are always so emotional and human. And this one is no exception.

I see a lot about Garfield and Emma and while Andrew is one of my most treasured Peter Parker / Spider-Man due to when it came out in my life I must say I don't see a lot of appreciation for the tremendous work and energy that Rhys Ifans put into his role. He really brought Connors to life and I really enjoyed his portrayal. A tremendous actor I'm proud to be Welsh ✊

The reason why the original trilogy and TASM1 were memorable, was because of the producer LAURA ZISKIN It was because of her and her husband (the screenwriter Alvin Sargent) that the movies had depth AVI ARAD on the other hand, just wanted to use the movies to sell toys Unfortunately, she died in 2011, during the production of TASM1 Without her, there was no one to stop Arad from destroying the franchise Spiderman was nothing without her

It is a crying shame that Sony got their hands all over Webb's movies. I believe if they had just let Webb tell the story he wanted and reworked the edit around to make the Lizard a stronger character with more purpose, that this would have been an extremely solid movie. That and with TASM2, I believe we could have had the best Spider-Man movies ever released in cinemas. That being said, I still love these movies, flaws and all. Despite the studio interference you can see that everyone working on this movie had a passion for Spider-Man, and the movie they were making. Andrew still is and always will be my favorite Spider-Man, and I hope one day that we may see TASM3, where Webb can tell his story completely unfiltered and everyone's performance and work can truly shine through.

It is a solid movie. The Lizard's evil villain plot is sort of schlocky B-movie stuff but it doesnt ruin the film.

So far, the only GOOD thing Avi Arad has done for Spidey was the decision to have Spot be the villain in _Across The Spider-Verse._ It was his idea when they struggling to find the right villain for the movie and he basically said "why not Spot?" Initially, they were like "you're kidding, right" only for them to slowly come to the conclusion that it was secretly brilliant.

Damn, they used the real sewer when filming the sewer fight scene. I thought they used some kind of a room that is fulfilled with green screen but it turned out to use a real place like in the movie. The movie deserves an amazing title because it was indeed amazing.
