The Making Of SPUNJ /w BLAST Premier. Currently working as a caster and broadcast analyst, SPUNJ is one of the most well recognized faces within the Counter Strike community. Originally starting his career as professional player within CS: Source and CSGO with teams such as Vox Eminor and Renegades, he retired in 2016.
Spunj is still heavily present within the tournaments and events, recently working at IEM Katowice and the PGL Stockholm Major. Chad 'SPUNJ' Burchill joined Matthew 'Sadokist' Trivett to discuss his proudest achievements within his career, as well as some of his lowest moments.

We are lucky to have so many great people on the presentation side of CS.
i remember playing chads team at a rockingham lan center in his home town. first round inferno, they went to waterfall and I improvised a position I had never played before sitting right angle to the exit of the apartment and got a 4k. I remember chad getting out of his chair and looking at us all like we cheated that round. we went on to lose the game, but definitely highlight of my lan days. Also remember being on mIRC in the day with web radio shows like fcuk etc and he was always so enthusiastic and commited to the game, back then you think someone like that is crazy although in hindsight I bet we all wish we saw the potential in the game like he did. Chad if you're reading this,I was in the [XI]. team, im sure you remember that one, we used to play farmerz, dFury, to name a few lol all the best much love from PER. respeck.

My favourite moment of spunj was back in summer 2021 during an episode of HLTV confirmed when he was literally fuming at the mouth, so angry about the whole Akuma situation, and how the community kept falling into the same toxic traps as before. Since then, Chad has been my spirit animal when I am angry at something or frustrated.
