I can't stop watching these custom keyboard builds, they are so awesome and informative. Thanks to these kind of videos I made my decision to purchase my first custom keyboard with holy pandas, GMK keycaps, lube and brushes, so excited waiting for it to arrive! Not going to lie the sound your keyboard made mas amazing, one of the best I've heard it even made me feel chills down my spine, hoping to get to that level with my new keyboard.
I would have never thought that a keyboard sound could be so incredibly satisfying to listen to. Also the way you present the detailed build process was an absolute blast to watch! Liked and subbed!

@@kylemckell Not really for a tkl. $470 is pretty standard and the keycaps are $99(mechmarket is a waste of money they're being offered for 120-250 depending on the seller but fuck mechmarket) but what makes this super expensive is just the fact it's a 1-off anodization that can't normally be bought with his logo etched in. Things are made in bulk to keep costs down but when you have to have your own special anodization colors and make them etch your youtube logo in the prices skyrocket.

What an awesome sounding beauty.
I mean no disrespect, but you built it wrong. The two pieces of foam that you showed were the hot-swap and soldered bottom foam. The mid/plate foam is a completely different foam. When assembling, you put the soldered bottom foam, which could cause some of the hot-swap sockets to pop off as they're being compressed by the foam. And, by using the soldered bottom foam, the typing experience might be a little bit stiffer as there is even more compression (as the foam is pressing against the hot-swap sockets).
