agree. well he is starting making game at age 30 so he doesnt have the 'elitist superiority' many developer have who start making games right after high school or college graduation. i beleieve he feel deep gratitude to be able join and creating game at game company at the age 30, so being haughty is the least he ever thought. tldr : praise miyazaki

Haha.. many people think that this channel is about Berserk or about the Making of games... It's a game design channel. All the videos so far are just prelude to that... many preparatory videos to go before the true content of the channel begins. My end goal is to create a game with our channel community, but lots of prep work to reach that (We will go through lots of game design topics, and with the audience now familiar with the "making" of games, they can relate more to design concepts. And we have an excellent model and a common point of reference, Miyazaki-san and his games. The next major series in this channel will be "The Game Design of X" and so on (these videos will still be part of the preparatory content, and not yet the true content of this channel) We are in a stage of getting everyone in the same page, so we can "run" when the prep work is done.

It's hard to think of a game that tops dark souls 3 for me. When I first bought it in 2018-2019 I actually hated it, then 3 years later I had bought ds1 remastered and eldem ring and played them for several hundred hours combined. I then decided to play bloodborne a bit since I had a PS5, didn't finish but did like it. Then when looking through my steam library and noticed dark souls 3 again, so I decided to play it and I lost myself in it for days, exploring every crevice, loving every second of it and then I beat it, and honestly that feeling of finality made my sad but unbelievably happy with one of th best gaming experiences I have ever had. Even before I played the DLC, DS3 held a special place in my heart. I really hope we don't get a dark souls 4, because I know it will never give me that same experience I had with 3. Thank you Miyazaki, please keep making games.

It’s insane to me how Miyazaki has consistently shown how much love and passion he has for his art. He shares traits that not a single non-indie studio has done (from what I’ve seen) due to him just loving building complex worlds with so much history And yet on top of all that he so often makes sure to let interviewers know this isn’t a one man ship and praises them constantly. Once in a lifetime guy who found the career he was made for

Ps : I have over 3,000 hours playing dark souls 3 out of the numbers playthroughs among builds of invasions I created. Dark souls 3 was basically my crack and I was highly addicted to the game which I still play it to this very day with the invasion online experience. I don't know how to explain it but it is far superior than Elden ring online experience and I can't explain it you just have to feel it to understand.

it's insanely impressive how they can make high quality games so efficiently. it comes with its sacrifices, but the final products are still so well done. i've been looking for as much info as i can on the cut content for dark souls 3, and it's so interesting to see their development mindset and how they decided to change things over time. huge parts of the story and gameplay were able to be repurposed, and the early version of ds3's story is so much different than the final product

Awesome video as always! Can't wait for the next one. If I may one nitpick - the audio of some of the trailers, cutscenes etc. is quite a bit louder compared to the parts where you're talking ( 1:18 :50 is a good example of that). If I set the volume so I can hear your voice well, the trailers are then really loud and I have to change volume multiple times during the video.
