The 2017 film did not do this masterpiece any justice. The main characters lacked any emotion or sincerity and they made the beast a lot more cruel than he was in the original and Belle so annoying.

I love Beauty and the Beast!😍❤️❤️❤️ Beauty and the Beast is one of my many top favorite Disney movies of all time! in My opinion, I say The cartoon is way better than the live action version!, Anyway, I just really love the cartoon as my favorite film version of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, And I say the cartoon is the best ever! The conversation about "who's the main character" is really interesting. In one way, it's mainly Belle; she's the primary POV, we spend the most time with her, etc. But in another, it's the Beast; he has the more discernable arc, moving from selfish to selfless.

Beauty and the Beast is my most favorite movie ( not just my favorite DISNEY movie). It's Great! Beauty and the Beast is the most amazing, fantastic, beautiful, outstanding and fascinating Disney movie. It has great soundtrack, great characters, really good voice actors, composers and the whole team. Belle is not just my favorite Disney Princess, not just my favorite Disney character; but my most favorite most beloved animated character. If there's any disney prince I like or if I have any favorite Disney prince, then it's Beast. He is really good, he is really beautiful; his inner beauty shines; though he doesn't look like any other disney prince; his appearance is really attractive. Who ever designed and animated the beast is really skilled and good artist. This character is good really good, and actually one of the best disney prince. It's actually one of the best movies ever made. And there's no doubt it was the first animated movie to be nominated for best picture at Academy award. This movie really deserves this award. Even if it didn't receive that; It's still the most beloved and the best movie. Beauty and the Beast is all time classic Most beautiful love story ever told. ❤ It's a masterpiece. 💛 Tale as Old as Time 🥀 💛 I love this movie 💛

Maybe if all the Deleted Scenes, Songs, and Characters from the Cancelled 1946, 1988, and 1989 Plotlines were included in the bonus features of the Special Diamond Edition of the Beauty and the Beast we all know and love.

The 1991 version much better than the version from 2017 .

I don't like or care that much for the live action remake, I love the Cartoon more instead.

To me this, though not making the money lion king made, was the best of the Renaissance films. It was nominated for best picture in both the golden globes but also the Oscar nod. Not to mention the use of Broadway actors and actresses was just the gold star on top of the tree. Musically this was the best Disney animated features! It set the bar for films to follow because next we had Aladin! Without this film setting the tone you wouldn’t have had lion king or Aladin be as good.

Remember when I had Beauty and the Beast on VHS when I was a kid and this was at the end of the film ♥️

Saw this in the movies yesterday for Disney100 and it was so magical! 🏰 There were kids in the audience who, you could just tell, hadn’t seen the film before and they made it feel like I was watching it for the first time 🕰️ 🕯️🥀✨

It's my favorite Disney film. I have the 🥀 tattooed on my left cheek near my ear. It's tied with my favorite film of all time too.. It's amazing!

I know I'll ruffle some feathers with my comment, but while I absolutely adore Howard Ashman's and Alan Menken's score, I've never liked the art of Beauty and the Beast, especially the characters. It's a big downgrade compared to the Little Mermaid, and it looks like the high budget version of a direct to video animation (meaning it's got more frames than a typical second-rate production, but the character design has the same cheap uninspired quality, especially for human characters). I think the movie also suffered for the early use of digital coloring, 'cause the pencils looked much more elegant.

I went to school with one of the key artists if the beast. His high school work looks so exactly like the Beast that it's really hard to believe this story that someone else created the Beast. In the end though, I think the sweetness of the origin story of Snow White is way better than than this. This episode just sounds full of ego not artistry.
