Yooo!! Never ever put your hand in front of the XRF like that. You should always be behind the high energy beam. It is known to cause cancer due to the radiation. Please reconsider your handling and usage of the machine. It should be used with great respect. Great work by the way!

I’m sure our cell phones give off more radiation that we keep on us everyday all day
@jakeschlachter3104
2 жыл бұрын
@@irishuwould5185 nahhh, the xrf gives off a focused direct beam of high energy (X-Ray) ionizing radiation. Getting hit with ionizing radiation causes electrons to be ejected from the outer shells of atoms. That’s bad for you, to keep it short. Your phone doesn’t do that. A cell phone instead emits (gives off) very low levels of non ionizing radiation, aka radio frequency energy.

Ricardo Murua Gracias! 🙏🏼
How do you determine how much you need to reduce the width of the wire in the draw plate when forming the links, is there a specific diameter you need to make the wire to end up with the desired width of the chain or is the final width of the chain determined by the size of the mandrill you coil the wire around?
@tblz406
2 жыл бұрын
It’s both, they have sizing charts online for that too if it’s helpful. Think about the fact that if you have a thin wire on a thick mandrel vs a thick wire on the same mandrel, the width of both links will be significantly different due to the extra width of the thicker wire.

Mad skills man how did you learn this?
Is a Cuban link always supposed to hang straight because iv heard some people say once it’s over 14mm a lil twist is better for wearing on the neck
@DanielJewelryInc
2 жыл бұрын
Hi, Over time links can flip if you sleep with it or ball or up in your hand. Those can easily be flipped and put back to original straight position. Over 14mm chains really do not require that little twist. Usually is about 17mm and up but it can be made straight you would just need to sacrifice other qualities. Like have the links a bit more spaced. If we make it a bit more spaced it can hang straight no matter how big it is. But it you would like it really tight on big links you would need that slight twist. Thank you

Where did the nickel alloy come from? Nickel was not shown on the 18k bars when you analyzed them as bars. Is the nickel from the final dip solution on the final processing to give it the shine and durability.?
@DanielJewelryInc

Nickel detected is not much. It’s a fraction of 1%. That is from the final bath. So yes that is correct. Good eye!
