When a group of 7 young international scientists noticed that a huge amount of work coming from James Cook University's Coral Reef centre was utterly wrong, it led them on a journey that ultimately discovered fraud, cover-ups and totally hopeless science quality assurance. Peter Ridd has been researching the Great Barrier Reef since 1984, has invented a range of advanced scientific instrumentation, and written over 100 scientific publications.

I read about the initial attack to your work at the university and the lawsuit that followed. I was happy to learn that you were reivindicated. The sad part is that they obviously did it as an exemplary measure for others not to dare opine against the narrative. I'm happy to see that you keep your determination for honest science and for telling the truth

Only 1 out of 100 probably see the correction. Maybe they should lose their PhD. At least there is hope re the magnificent 7.

How sad that the experimenters knew so little about science. What does it say of their facillitators?
I could probable think of some large words to describe this that don't begin with 'f', but I think the word "tragedy" comes to mind as it is a real tragedy for the wider community that have been deceived by this. It's actually quite sad really :(
