She is not poor Mary, but she is our mother Mary. She has been chosen by Abba Father to give birth to our Lord Jesus to die for the whole world sins. So she is Mother of God and victorious mother, not poor Mary. To say about mother Mary , can keep on talking so many.

I think David Haas just added some of his own lyrics and got inspiration from the magnificat. I do know that in Psalm 91 it mentions of "God's wings".

Not so much a translation as a very free paraphrase of the Magnificat: My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For he hath regarded the lowliness of his handmaiden. For behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. And his mercy is on them that fear him throughout all generations. He hath shewed strength with his arm. He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He hath put down the mighty from their seat and hath exalted the humble and meek. I think because of the “sexual harrassment” case which the composer, David Haas, was involved last year. Even recording publications that partnered with him had his songs removed like from Spotify whatsoever, and (some or most) Dioceses in the US banned his songs from being used in Masses.
