It was told in books that she had a natural talent when it took into making magic and learning new things/circumstances

When she literally had to horcrux her goddess power because of Alice I legit got so pissed off because that's so not fair to her after EVERYTHING she has been through.

erebus 100 She at least wanted the choice between being an immortal or mortal. But as she lost Quentin and got Magic back she is at least got what she wanted Magic. She didn’t care about being a goddess she just wanted Magic nothing more. But she also wanted to do with Quentin as he was her best friend.

I hate that Alice was considered “THE magician” of the group, because her depth of knowledge but to me I would say it’s Julia. She had a sharp mind, fast learner, was usually willing to see the bigger picture and not think purely about herself.. Amazing character development

most of the characters in this series are insufferable tbh. Like, Margo and Eliot do it on purpose so it's actually entertaining but everybody else is so self righteous in their assholeness I keep wanting to slap them. The only character who made Quentin bearable was Eliot.

A bit late to the party and I hate to burst your bubble but I doubt this will happen. Not because she as a character doesn't deserve it, but because the plot can't really handle it. If Julia has goddess powers, it puts a huge disconnect between her and the rest of the cast. Anything that is a problem for the rest of the cast, Julia can literally hand wave away, but any problem for Julia, the rest of the cast can't really help with. It turns the show into Dragonball Z where Julia is Goku. The only real way for her to be a goddess is for her to leave and I like her better in the actual show.

Julia deserves the world. Waiting for her to become a goddess again 😢

The sign that the Lady Underground is arriving is a giant storm like at 6:51. It would be so cool if Julia remained a goddess and the sign of her arriving is a bunch of tress bursting into being, like at 10:02 signaling the arrival of "Our lady of the tree"

Anytime I see Julia in a video I click! Hands down the best character on the show and I could listen to that voice alllllll day long!

I wish I had the tree ability.. rebuild the Amazon Rainforest

Alice had the most knowledge but Jullia had the most talent, both were very powerful. What was really impressive was that Jullia learned magic without the help of the school. Quetin cast the most complicated spell when he resurrected Allice. The show glossed over Allice's ressurection which was a shame. In the book it took several pages to describe the ressurection spell. Quentin had to cast several spells at the same time including reverse entropy, trapping a Niffin, building a body atom by atom.

Julia learned her magic by rote. It's quite amusing that it only takes to learn about 250 spells to master magic casting. Theoretically, it makes sense. And part of the things that they don't go about it in the TV series was the importance of the term in Brakesbills south. How Mayakovsky teaches how that magic is not just the rules and circumstances at play and how to bend the universe to your will to make magic happen. Which makes the last season, when the moon was messing up Circumstances, kinda silly. Julia mastered through pain and suffering and makes her the badass of all of them. Also hate how they downplayed Penny on the show.

With Jul it was such a journey. I didn't like at first then I grieved for her, she became a hope, he became a hero. This show really blessed me honestly:'(

I can relate to Julia. I’m an occultist, and this kind of magick is something I’d love to achieve with friends that see magick like this. And if I suddenly started doing what Julia and everyone else can do, I’d learn all I could and expand my imagination from what I could do. So this, this resonates with me.

Well that may have been partially true but she is human now because of penny. And i understand why they made her human again. If she was a god she could fix any problem so the show could not exist. It is really sad that she is not a god anymore i really liked her during season 3 but i prefer to have her in the show as human rather than not and know she became a god

@@Mcherri well quentin was pretty much useless in terms of power. Alice, julia and penny are the ones with the greatest power. Julia was obviously the strongest, alice is very talented and penny is a traveler although we don't see him exploring his ability to read minds. Anyway quentin was important mostly during s1

I would’ve really liked to see some more backstory for Julia and Quentin. Maybe when they were in high school or when they were kids reading the Fillory books. It just seems like there was a lot of potential there when Quentin says something in season 1 about, “You knew how I felt about you. Admit it! Just admit it!”

She better be a Goddes at some point

That doesn't translate to TV well. Just look at Superman. If he messes up, he can turn back time and try again. That's fine for a comic book, but Superman is just a boring character in the movies and TV.

She had the best powers, I swear. That first clip was BADASS

She tried to kill that version with the spell byt it did not work so she gave him her shade so that he would feel again and he just suicide

Julia was the whole reason i watched the magician. Her character in Chicago PD was Amazing because she made an unlikeable character, likeable. but what they did with her character in the end was heart breaking(i stopped watch Chicago PD after that.)

I never had much patience for this show, due to the unbearableness of most of the characters' acts(and the excessive fanservice) and due to how the spells seemed too intricate for a normal human to memorize and master(unrealistic), but was it ever explained why some of her initial spells were so easy to perform, in comparison to the ones we usually saw happening at Brakebills? Like: Why is invisible fire, an advanced spell, easier than fireworks, to perform?

most humans aren't magicians because they can't memorize or master the spell.That's the point. A lot of students will never be great Magician. A lot of the spells she performed were easier because it was Hedge Magic (dangerous and unstable).

@@IaMSpeaks Also you need to remember her Discipline is knowledge or something like that in the other timelines. So her performing a spell looks simple even though its difficult because its suppose to. Alice wasn't the smart one, Julia was. So from a directive and narrative standpoint, When Julia performs as difficult spells, it looks easy because iots like breathing for her, when the others perform a spell, they had to learn it hard. Study for it. Its not natural for them like it is for her.
