That is so lovely - the farmer letting you park on his land over night! You both look very honest ! The scenery is amazing - the view looking up through the skylight is great even on a rainy day ! I really love the skylights

Lovely Robins song along the canal,makes a winter day so nice,but early on a spring morning 30 minutes before sunrise is best for the Dawn Chorus,when a variety of birds sing to proclaim territory and attract.,such a blessing for you both to witness it on the canals

It really is beautiful. We feel very privileged to hear the bird songs. Paul has got up to listen to the dawn chorus in the past, I am not a morning person unfortunately, but he has recorded it. Hope you have a lovely weekend ❤️

No two days are the same for weather on your vlogs, its always a suprprise in the UK. You have so many friends and narrowboaters you meet up with. I tend to think you would only come across continual cruisers once or twice a year , if that. Maybe those you keep seeing all stick to a specific area like yourselves due to work or family etc ? I love cruising early in the day, but I'm an early riser anyway. Lovely vlog and area thank you. Hope your getting ready for Christmas and can get some quality time together xxx

Hey Susan. Definitely a surprise with the weather 😂. We have made so many friends in the 3 years we have been aboard. Some boaters do still to specific canals but we have probably done a significant part of the North and even ventured south this year, which was amazing. I am definitely not a morning person but sometimes, we get up so we can cruise longer. Have a lovely weekend and fingers crossed we can all have quality time with our loved ones ❤️

Amazing section of canal there and the bridges were brilliant all lit up like a Manet. Cheers!

I bought a dehumidifier and put it in the bathroom with all the wet washing and it dries it all in 5 hours. Keep the portholes and doors to the bathroom closed. I have quite a lot I can’t put in a tumble dryer so this has proved invaluable!

Happy Friday evening! 🥰 I hope it will be a lovely one. For some reason (El Nino?) it's been great here this fall and it continues. It's 55 degrees and sunny right now. It is lovely seeing the early autumn canal. I am really not that trusting of technology, I guess. It's fine if you have it and it's working but I prefer a manual alternate method. 😊 I guess I'm not very trusting. I saw Lisa's video that ended with your party in Lincoln. Hey guys. There are some really cute pubs along the canal. Everywhere is steeped in history. It is mind blowing. I have been laying off chocolate for ages now and am a regular gym goer! What a contrast in weather. You guys need a sou-wester hat with those ponchos. It would keep the rain off your glasses. Tell you what. Those birds don't half make a racket as you glide on by down the canal. It seems like most of the vloggers I follow are heading back for Christmas. You're like homing pigeons. 😂

Hey Harry. That rain was horrific. The birds are definitely vocal 😂. We are actually heading further from family again 😮. We were hoping to be on the Leeds Liverpool but with all the closures we have made a detour. Hope you are keeping well. ❤️

No idea. I think the battery was that low that it wouldn’t recognise anything. We always keep a key back up with us now. Lesson learnt Diana. Have a great weekend ❤️
