    +Larimar Wellbeing :) I'm a white dude living in the USA and I'm fascinated with black women who could sing. Merry Clayton, Ronnie Spector, Etta James, etc. And my all time favorite Nina Simone. Enjoy yourself, Larimar. I watched the Tom Hardy trailer for Legend where he plays the Kray Brothers about 30 times Since Christmas and I went to see it last weekend and it was OUT! Dammit! I was pissed. Enjoy the little bit I know about the Kray's. They didn't have a Cosa Nostra blue print. They just went out and did it. Also got treated to a tray of English desserts last week with some Dajeerling tea. Some Jam Pennies, some Bakewell Tarts. I love almonds. And something with Devonshire cream and fresh strawberries. Marrone!

Listne he got lucky that when Sammy the Bull went bad he didn’t give up his crew ..!! Cause at the end Most of Sammy’s Crew from Brooklyn wonder up going bad .. That’s because they never did a bid .. And they Ran Brooklyn ... I should run for mayor then !!! Stop Compimenting Guys who destroyed family’s and then want Sympathy.. You want Sympathy go to Hallmark and buy yourself a card !!!! Let me tell you something. The Mafia is gone, finished. When you see world famous rats walking around with reporters and cameramen in Mafia neighborhoods, you know it's finished, over and done. Back in the day if you ratted out on a family, you had to go in to the witness protection program and move to another coast, or at least another state. Now all they do is write books, star on documentaries and even on movies. Like i said, finished...

    I don't agree with you 100%, but i gotta admit you got a point. Law enforcement is basically focused on terrorism lately and the mafia is propably growing in the shadows. But there are a lot of issues about loyalty, honour and other old school aspects. One thing is for sure, that the books are not gonna open so easily in the future for membership.

    +tommyBatts1 Listen, I don't want to come like an asshole, but please, go around 18th Avenue in Bensonhurst and listen to the bullshit in the shops and cafe's and the luncheonette's and bars and then come back here and tell us how the mob is dead, exactly. They aren't dead one bit. Like Le Monachiste said below: They kill rats and the whole ball comes down." No, these clowns are still out there and the best thing that happened to them was 9/11 and Al-Queda and now these ISIS assholes. And not every mobster stayed with or even joined WPP. The power has waned, but that's just because of what we just mentioned. You drop a high profile rat today and the Feds are a ton of bricks. Look at last month. The Bonanno's had their Christmas party a few weeks ago at Bocelli's on Staten Island. 6 hour long party of eating and drinking and collecting and kicking up their La'boosts. Including the whole administration. And they had a Boss who flipped a decade ago. Not very long for a borgata that was called out at the plate. So they're back doing it old-school. Joe Cammarano who is either acting for Mikey Nose or is the official Boss ( nobody knows ) And Mr. Fish, the Consigliere. Some think Joe C. is underboss and acting for that banana nose Mancuso, but who can be sure. The point was, they were there. Smoking cubans and drinking JB. If you know the neighborhood, you'll know that Bocelli's is one the best restaurants in the 5 boroughs. It's even Zagat rated, which rare for the Island. But also means it's on everyone's radar. You're not hiding out when you're having your 6 hour party there. And this is a last place team we're talking about. I guess some guys on probation got busted for associating. Again, I don't mean to sound like a dickhead, but the Mafia's not gone and it's not going anyplace unless they start finding people in trunks again. And nothing for nothing, the guys in this video aren't really "World Famous Rats." Not a one. You got Scars who did the most damage to Junior, but Junior beat 4 Federal cases. A world class rat would be someone like Carmine Persico or Scarpa ( But he never testified ) or Gotti, etc. Or Joe Massino if he decides to write a book. Scars even got that guy on Mulberry street wrong. He made it out to be that the guy was Froggie's kid, but he was locked up when the video was shot. Scars needs new Google Glasses. You can tell he's scared driving around the city. Frankly I don't blame him. Forget all the talk about "Oh, well, they can't kill rats, because of the heat." Because someday, some guy who lost everything to one of these gavones is gonna get cancer he can't beat or some other ridiculous thing and they're gonna take out one of these guys. Came real close with Gravano in '99. Pete Gotti was Boss at the time and Sammy was doing all these interviews and it really ate at these guys and finally Pete sent out Huck Carbonaro and a guy named Fat Sal to do the work. They actually sat in a port-o-potty about a hundred yards from where Sammy Bull was and Huck was a serious man and he hated Gravano. They all did, but Huck got his shy book and thought "Ooo, I'm set now" And nobody would pay. Heh. Can you imagine if that hit went down? Oofa! holy shit! The rats like Cicale and Paciello would be shrieking like women. Knew this guy who was best friends with this poor kid whose mom got shot by her asshole boyfriend and he only ended doing around 5 years on a technicality and we would try to get this up and moving. Snowboarding, boozing, etc. A nice kid. He'd start boozing and he'd tell us that he wouldn't do anything because he had plans with his life and with his girl, but if ever got diagnosed with a fatal disease, he was talking the guy apart with pliers and I really believed him. Sorry to be depressing. Most of the rats we see on these shows still think they're tough guys. At least Scars shows a little fear for himself and his family and rightly so. These guys shouldn't be living in these beautiful homes and writing shitty books. They should be forced to work and pay taxes. Anyway, I'm babbling. Sorry to do that on your post, man. Regards.

    In New Orleans Italian Organized Crime morphed into today''s judicial and executive system of government. Within the state of Louisiana and in particularly the surrounding parishes or counties in the NOLA areaa the sons and daughters of organized crime figures became elected officials and in two parishes current District Attorneys. Ironically they don't have any adversaries because they became one huge political machine. Other elected officials in that area of non Italian ethnicity aligned their selves and became loyal with CN members of local government, even the former US Attorney General of that region was tainted. They seem to legitimized their activities by becoming the very heart of the judicial system. New Orleans is where the heart of CN lodges. If you paid any attention to New Orleans Italian Organized Crime, you would also see what happened there.

    I heard in another documentary that the NOLA CN is the oldest branch of the Mafia in the US. I wonder if that's true? Possibly, as an apparently large number of Italians (particularly from Sicily) migrated to that area in the early days of the immigration wave. My mom knows this man who says he knows Carlos Marcello's great-nephew and that they are good friends (the guy is a CPA who does the great-nephew's taxes and the taxes of other businessmen who have links with the Mafia). I've yet to meet him, but my mom told him that I'm interested in all things Mafia and he said that I should come see him because he has hundreds of stories the great-nephew told him about the Mafia in its hey day and about his great-uncle.

    17:25 Turns out that the wiseguy from the Lucchese family Mickey Scars saw on Mulberry street was James 'Froggy' Galione, son of Ralph Galione who indeed (allegedly) messed up the hit on James McBratney with Gotti as portrayed in the movie by the same name..

  • @bodhitaichi

    @bodhitaichi

    Mikey Scars wasn't a stone gangster. He had something on the ball because he rose fast. But that only means JR had garbage around him and nobody else to promote. Good earner. Flipped super quick and his line about being shelved was a lot of shit. They wouldn't shelve a guy like that so quickly. He's a typical rat. Didn't want to do the time so he said they turned on him. Typical stuff. I can't sit here and judge the man from behind my keyboard. He did what had to do. He seem's likable and he's probably an alright guy if he's not bleeding you dry. But he does seem to be the most cautious of rats and he admits it. He's definitely afraid of being outed. Not the smartest move, driving around Little Italy, but something tell's me that Scars will be writing a book soon. It'll be a good read about the young Gotti's regime. Although I'm sick to death about hearing about Sr. there isn't much out there about Jr. Alite wrote a book, I guess, but I decided to save my money because while Alite was really good at breaking heads, I don't believe a word he says and I'm ain't putting any of my money in his pocket. If there was something earth shattering and new in his book, it would be out there by now. His big thing was Junior's 302 and if the mob don't care about that, why the fuck should I?

  • @Guillermo_Carratero

    bodhitaichi I read Alite's book, was pretty good, especially the way he survived the Brazilian prison, that's no joke. But I like all of Anastasia's books.. Also about the 302, don't you think Junior isn't at least shelved for doing this? He ratted out Danny Marino who is/was a captain..

I read in the Tommy "Karate" Pitera book that Gotti Jnr had a problem with with Pitera and brought Alite to a sitdown at which point he was told that he shouldn't even be there and to get out,Pitera got his way and the sitdown went in his favour too, The Bonannos were the most dangerous family at that period in the early 90s since they got kicked off the commision in the 80s.

    One thing really bothers me.Whenever talking about "mafia" the term itself should be clear.Because journalist,criminals,cops,ppl in general tend to use this term a lot.And two ppl can have very different meaning for it,and what mafia is. While the usual explanation is "organized crime",some ppl call mafia every organization,even gangs,other will not call mafia even big drug cartels,but only criminals who deal with extortion,blackmails,construction. Dont know this journalist,dont know much about american mafia today,but I was in Italy,and have met those guys.They are plain,ordinary ppl,who just dont want to take the every day shit from government etc.So they joined in organization,and make money however they know. And most of them,at least guys I met,dont like to do things like killing,beating,etc.They take money from state,and ppl who have more than they need. So called legal criminals,ppl who also steal all of their money,but they just had the luck to have right connections in politics,so they are "well respected pilars of comunity"

    This guy the journalist who did all this is awesome. He did such a great job. I could tell you stories about a mafia group out if Austin Texas. We were victims of the mafia around Austin. We paid money to them to get our property back. I knew if I told on them they’d know it came from us. Shame on us for not turning them into the police. But I was afraid of them. They knew where we were.

    Fear and intimidation are games you play on the weak, real mother fuckers will kill you right there on the spot for trying to pull some bullshit like that, you can't intimidate a killer.

    I still ask myself why the Gambinos never made him at least captain of a crew. He always had it in him. To this day no one has ever seen a sharper Albanian in Brooklyn.

    Mikey Scars did Toni Marie and their son very dirty and doesn’t seem too disturbed about it. That tells me he’s a sociopath and narcissist. Then he flips and makes things harder and his lame response is “ well I left her the house in SI” never mind how his son especially had to suffer. I have major relationship problems with 3 of my 4 kids and I did nothing even close to what this guy did. I wish they could see this. I’d encourage his son to forgive bc he’s only hurting himself by holding onto bad feelings but I understand how he has them.

    Sonny wasn't the real father of Michael Franceze. His mum was already pregnant when she first got with Sonny. It's a fact. Sonny's real son flipped and became an FBI informer and sonny forgave him.
