Great video as always! I've struggled learning harmonics from instruction, but I seem to learn well from you. I would like to see the guidance on how to know where to set B and C points. I've notice they are not always the peak points of the move. For B I assume a fib from X to A, but then those are subjective also.

Yes, please more harmonic pattern videos. With what technical analysis do you combine these patterns - because at the start the pattern can repaint. I use a W%R - R=40 length and a EMA13 to minimize repainting of the patterns.

Yeah I've been using harmonic patterns for around 4 or 5years . There are literally more than 100 of them. This has got to be the most widely known of them all along with the bat. By themselves they give around a 50% Win rate but with a very good r/r. when you correlate them with other things like a major s/r area I've gotten Win rates up to around 65%. There is another video on YT with a professional British trader that has been using them his whole career and says they are his favorite setup. It takes me too look for and draw them so I just software for it

I traded rsi divergence back then, it's not always works. Use resistance and support levels is way better. You can use supply and demand strategy for higher win rate, but don't use it alone. Supply and demand will be powerful if it's zone level align with support/resistance. I don't really use supply & demand strategy, I trade resistance/suppot, supply & demand is just for my signals. We can't say "confirmation" in forex trading because forex market is unpredictable.

A simple way to find this patern is to look at it this way. It's basically an ABC correction move against the first X to A leg.

If you type "Eliot wave #2 ABC Corrections: zigzags,flats and triangles" You will see two patterns. The lower one would be your typical ABC pattern. Basically you would be looking for price to be moving or trending upwards. (X) Price would then typically begin to fall back/reverse against the up move. This being the A leg of the correction. Then after a few or more bars, price would begin to move back up again, but fail to reach the previous high. Thus making a (Lower high) This being the B leg. After which price would fall once again, and actually surpass the low of the A leg, the first move down. Making a (Lower low) But shortly after taking out the low of the A leg price should reverse back up again and above/inside the low point of the A leg, and then (If it is indeed an ABC correction) go on to continue the original move up. Personally I usually wait for price to close back inside/above the low of the A leg and then go long if the next bar continues moving higher, placing my stop just below the first A leg low. ABC corrections can happen in both up moves/trends or a down move/trends. In a down move the A leg of the correction would be just be upwards rather than downwards. Hope that helps.

Thx for the vid, but I don't like it. Similar problem like with EWs: "forcing" very specific patterns onto charts. I'd appreciate more videos based on price action and confluence of factors.

Yet the patterns complete whether or not the big players are known to influence them one way or another. The key to take from this video is the phrase 'harmonic'. And the patterns in the video are exclusively the ones where the big players havechanged their long to short-short to long market making and begin new price discovery. This is where sentiment attracts new markets and the up and down and reflexivity can play out again for a new cycle.

@@TheSecretMindset I have seen some advertised online. IML academy has one. And a few that can be purchased or rented on a monthly subscription. However you mention that there are on Tradingview? Is it the same and shows you Gartley/Bat/Butterfly/Crab etc. Patterns? I tried the IML it's very good because they send you notifications on a discord group when the algorithm finds the patterns which is usually every few minutes, but it's expensive to use. Can you suggest any Harmonics scanner which has notifications on 1hr, 4hr or D time frames? Thank you for your help. By the way I found your channel from another trader who I follow who suggested following you: Arty at TMA (The Moving Average).

How you choose leg X as first point from the pattern? What criteria for leg X?

It has to be the first bullish or bearish move. How you decide if it's a 'move' is up to you. Personally I consider an X to A move to be valid when there is a strong bullish or bearish move, without a pullback.

So if you do M style Gartley XABCD on the Spy weekly from X= May 3, 2021 to A=Jan 3, 2022 to B=Jan 24, 2022 to C= Mar 28, 2022 to Apr/May 2022, you might see a 1.618 extension around $523. Not sure this is our future. Interested in comments (did I even do it correctly?)

You failed to mention the precise stop loss level of 1.0, as patterns tends to have different sizes. Also consider other elements such as TBP

Harmonic patterns are very powerful...but be careful of massive pullbacks and spikes in the opposite direction I've been caught out many many times 🤔
