Hey @Mercedes-Benz kudos to the people who came with this idea and the ones who made it. With this interview, the pictures and scenes in Mallorca make your products more relatable to me. Instead, the typical videos with car features and models showing they are having a good time. It is not tech features, but real people, are the ones who share the real value to your products. I enjoyed the video and for sure would like to have a G-Class someday in my life. Keep it up guys!

I mean, the price point is too high to do this for most people. Realistically, the people that would ever be able to do this is: Engineers - 15 or 20+ yr experience. - I think this is a vast majority of possible clients as its much more work/life balance than the below. Doctors/Dentists - Probably don't have time to do this. Lawyers - Probably don't have time to do this. Business Owners - Possible option, I could see this being #2 client behind successful Engineers. Other 1% investors, celebrity, high profile professions - Probably don't have time, or security to do this. They probably own the majority of the G-Wagons, just they aren't the camping profile.

Incredible 🥳 It's kind of funny to see us like this but just cool 😂 We are very grateful for this great production with these great people and this great car!🙏🏽 And thanks to Mercedes Benz, who let the first G off the line into the wild in 1979 🤜🏽🤛🏽 We are already looking forward to the next STRONG STORYS and the stories behind them.😍😍😍 The adventure continues ⭐️Stronger then time ⭐️

For a second I confused it with a car that ordinary people buy 😂 Obviously, great vehicle. It tries to convince us that people who drive Bens have souls as well 😂 It would be cool to see a rugged trim, but I mean actual ruggedness inside as well. Carbon fibre, unnecessary screens, white leather and piano black do associate with off-road in my mind. I understand it would be a halo product, but maybe it would keep an image of a hard core off-roader and not just a vehicle for rich people driven only in city centres.

Please consider taking inspiration from the G Wagon to develop a vehicle at the GLE price point that is accessible to more of the market, it doesn’t need to be as well engineered as the G but the market is crying out for fun, squarebody, off-roaders and Mercedes has so much brand value to capitalise on as an off roader manufacturer from the G and Unimog products

It's called Raptor Liner paint or something like that, very used in off-road builds.

🙋🏽‍♂️We have him for 8-9 years and clearly it is a vehicle that will soon be 23 years old but there are enough reasons why we would not trade our Gustav ...🤷🏽‍♂️ Every time we change tires it is sure 20 min that pass because the mechanics are first marveled at the mechanics, technology, design and so on ...😅 I don't know for sure which vehicle would have stayed by our side during all our travels and challenges like our beloved G 🤜🏽🤛🏽 🙋🏽‍♂️⭐️

It’s got the legendary M113 engine used from 1998 to 2006. Naturally aspirated and fewer electronics. Just a pure workhorse.

Von so einem Abenteuer träumt doch jede Familie. Jedoch ist die G Klasse schon lange kein Familien Geländewagen für schöne Reisen . Die G Klasse ist ein Statussymbol der Reichen Klasse und nicht für normal verdienende mittelständige Familien.

Hey Marco 🙋🏽‍♂️ Ich weiss was du meinst … der G hat auch dieses Status Symbol der reichen … Dubai, LA, München etc. Allerdings sind das meist die neuen und natürlich auch die teuren 🤷🏽‍♂️ Es gibt aber viele unsere G Freunde mit den wir verbunden sind welche den G artgerecht behandeln 😅wie auch wir. Wenn man sich andere und offroader anschaut die auch gehiped werden und schon viele Jahre auf dem Buckel haben ist der G nicht unerschwinglich … war unserer auch nicht 🤷🏽‍♂️ Aber hier ist natürlich die Frage was für einen Priorität hat und für was man ein Auto schlussendlich braucht. Bei uns hat das eben gepasst da wir mit unserem G ustav all unsere Bedürfnisse stillen konnten 🥳🙏🏽 Falls du mal ein paar Infos zu den verschiedenen Baureihen und Jahrgängen brauchst, sag Bescheid 🙋🏽‍♂️🙏🏽 Hab einen schönen Tag

😂 I had G55 2010. It had only 89K kilometers and I used to go to workshop 1-2 times per week. I loved my G55 a lot. I still think that it’s a great vehicle for emotions, but it would be the worst idea to go overlanding with G-wagen, unfortunately 😢

Die älteren G-Klassen Modelle waren dafür noch geeignet.. mit der neuen G-Klasse und den ganzen Elektronikhelferlein möchte ich lieber keine längere Auslandsreise machen! Mercedes, ihr müsst noch mal eine abgespeckte Version veröffentlichen, welche man(n) sich auch leisten kann!

Hello my dear, I understand what you mean and want to say,🙏🏽 And for many people, a vehicle is about getting from A to B, In our case, it's just the rest of the Abc that comes with it 😅 We just love showing our kids and ourselves the world. Other cultures, people, food, skin colours etc. there is so much beauty to discover in this world and unfortunately often too much grey in our everyday lives....🤷🏽‍♂️ For us, this vehicle is the opportunity to experience all this with three children and a dog. The luxury for us here is freedom and life.🙏🏽 And above all, to experience it now and not only when time has passed🙏🏽. I totally understand your FOMO mindset, but we've actually been able to motivate a lot of people to experience it too, and that's nice, isn't it? Have a wonderful day 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
