Remember summer 2013 wow what a year, I thought folk music was for sure going to take over the world.

The first time I heard this song was when I was 20, left college, left and abusive relationship and didn't know where to go. I just played this song to cheer me up, I still do

When I first heard The Lumineers it was "Ho Hey" and "Stubborn Love" but u never looked into the artist. I just loved those songs. And I soon met a girl I had a lot in common with and she properly introduced me to them. We became best friends, she understood me like no other human did. We recently grew apart from each other...I thought we'd be best friends for ever, but I was mistaken. I'm not getting enough effort to keep our friendship going from her end. So I think it's time I let her go. I'll miss you so much esme...but I'm tired of giving the full 100% while I get 0% from you. No matter what I hope you find your peace and happiness some day.

Every time. I bottle nearly all emotions and have my entire life. But the lumineers cause such a wave of emotion it presents in the way of tears.

Wow, this gives me chills!!!! Remembering their shows in smaller venues when they came out into the audience to sing but everyone had to put their phones away first......hoping for a time we can experience that again...."keep your head up!!" LOVE!

There is something so special about the lumineers. :)
