I've got one of these Sunday dollars from a research paper I did in 1988. As a Traditional Catholic, I was well-received by nearly everyone I encountered in Crown Heights, except for a car full of Caribbean kids who yelled anti-Semitic slurs and tossed a McDonald's milkshake at me. Although we couldn't be further apart with religious beliefs, I found much in common with moral standards. My thanks to the two families who allowed me to spend Shabbos with them.

Christianity includes much symbology which they “venerate” as they call it for instance, the cross, Virgin Mary, etc, which are the reasons why it is considered to involve idolatry, on the other hand Muslims are not. They include no symbology, they pray to one G-d only, Allah and Eloha (pl. Elohim) are from two languages that come from the same language families, they have the same root (Arabic: Alif-lam-ha/Aramaic: Aleph-lamed-hei). Muslims use the Torah and have Moses (Musa) as a prophet just as they do with Mohammed, just that Mohammed was believed to have brought G-d’s bigger message to the people. Muslims also have Jesus (Eiza) son of Mary (Miriam) only difference is that they respect him as a prophet whereas Christians believes he was G-d in flesh.

This was not Shabbos...they would not have on tefillin if it were Shabbos. This was a Monday or Thursday, as the Torah was out when tefillin were on.

Games etc. Because some Christians try to be so devout that as a a way of showing so they want to go around “evangelizing” everyone they find, and when you don’t give in to their beliefs they end up hating you for being an incredulous and those sorts of things.

With out a leader the movement has been very successful at growing but I sometimes wonder if Chabad has converted itself to a cult, they seem to worship the Rebbe, (something he did not approve of)...

There’s a great difference between worshipping someone and following through the path he did. We don worship the Rebbe, we respect him, bless his memory just as we bless every other Jew’s when they have passed away, and we following in his teachings.

There was no mention in the Old Testament, nor by Jesus Christ...of any "Jew." You had the Tribe of Judah, the region of Judea,...the Pharisees, Sadducees, Samaritans....but no "Jew." Today...there are people who CLAIM to be "Jewish," but they are of the SynaGOGue of Satan, and they don't even come from the Middle East. The water is really "muddied."
