I saw him and Ghostface in a small intimate venue and it was my favorite concert. Sheek is 100% underrated.

Sheek's first three solo albums contain some "hidden gems" especially the personal, truthful tracks. One thing I like about Sheek is the fact that he can actually do hooks, unlike some other people.

The LOX will always be my favorite rap trio. They have done great things for Yonkers, New York, the awareness of health & hip hop. Sheek Louch is underrated on the mic, great interview!

Sheek Louchiano is underrated! He's one of the illest to me, plus The Lox is the greatest Hiphop clique! 💯
This is an amazing interview! Another for the collection!! Sheek is EXTREMELY UNDERRATED. The Lox is the 2nd greatest Hip Hop group of all time, Wu Tang is number 1. Sheek is a phenomenal writer and have much character on and off mic. Thanks for this Talib.

@@UPROXXVideo the LOX are a legendary trio, each member is unique and maintain a great example of how to Emcee, how to carry on the legacy of mastering the ceremony as well as the art of storytelling. Slang, wisdom, masculinity that isn't toxic but self reflective. The LOX has what most in the game miss. Sheek has his own type of cadence and slang this uncommon and because of such most don't bridge that gap and that gives more mystique to style of Sheek. Sheek has a unique voice that makes you listen, his cadence of slang is like darts of old and new, like a new language but it's actually a combination of ancient tongues across the globe ans bringing it back to the hood to share with the community. Sheek has the ability to take the tongue of many cultures and make gumbo type lyrics to fill you up and when the verse is done you'll ask for seconds. Sheek deserves more recognition. Would be dope to see him and Raekwon the Chef together, or Cappadonna. Sheek is also very hilarious at times, incredible at giving contrast in his lyrics! Taking you from dark to light back to dark to the light. True artists. Each member of the LOX is amazing in their own and together are true legends that will last forever. They deserve to be studied. Thanks for the career of greatness for us all to study and of course be entertained. Salute!

When the LOX first dropped Sheek was my favorite…definitely one of the most underrated Emcees in the culture.
Us 80s kids miss them long ass songs, freestyles. It's like the best day ever when we get a verse over 16 bars.

I truly believe the greatest rappers have 3 technical factors that are key to making them iconic in the rap fraternity..Charisma, Cadence and Content..basically its sonic energy..that the listener connects to even if the dont speak the language... Sheek louche had bags of Charisma and could have been one of the GOATS if he honed it...his natural vocal ability was dope..had a freedom in how he rapped that if honed would have made him stellar... He is one of the rappers whose verses i enjoy listening to. Says some crazy stuff lol

This is the thing...Jadakiss is the most accessible with the slick talk and punchlines, Styles is the best overall writer and the deepest. Sheek is just the rawest and gives no fucks. Cats throw "underrated" around loosely as a muh'phugga but Sheek truly IS underrated, even by heads who should know better...
