One of the best comedians I've ever seen live. I went to Caroline's on Broadway with my parents back in 2005 and he went after my dad. Asked him where he was from, he said Montreal. Vos said, "You like New York?" My dad said yeah. Vos said, "You want to live here?" My dad said no. And Vos just started roaring at him, "F*** YOU THEN! GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM!!!" My dad and I still laugh about it to this day. See, because we have senses of humour.

I'm not saying that this was the most original and profound stand up set I've seen but it is proof that Rich Vos is a very funny comedian and also shows that he is great at playing dumb when he needs to be.

None of them were funny or understand comedy anyway. Vos is highly respected by his peers. The rest of you aren't even respected in your homes.

@@Overqualified1 he’s literally listed Pryor as one of his greatest influences. If Patrice was alive he would definitely not like people saying Rich Vos is his comic idol. Vos would also acknowledge that Patrice was a greater standup than he was, or he would just take the praise in good humour. Bro you could make an hour long compilation easily of Patrice expressing in different ways how much Vos’s act stinks. I don’t think it’s true, he was actualy a great standup back in his early days and is doing maybe a better job than any of the other cellar comics except of course the great Louis CK at upsurging their comedy game these days.

When they used the damn opener from the roast, I thought this was mislabeled, so glad to see some Vos standup!

I remember Rich Vos from tough crowd, but earlier this week I bought one of his albums off iTunes and before the album was even finished I was back on iTunes for the other 4 albums... He is criminally under-rated!!! If there were more albums I would have bought those too. Colin Quinn is my favourite comedian, and Eddie Murphy (Delirious) is the single greatest start to finish performance in the history of stand-up, but the funniest? I don’t know man, for me, it’s Rich Vos...

Is that the show where 30 people supposedly "walked out" because he was trashing some native women who were being disruptive? I WISH I'd been there. I saw him destroy a table full of disruptive women in NYC in 2005. He absolutely demolished a woman. She and one of her friends walked out. The rest of the place continued to laugh uproariously. One of the best comedians I've ever seen live. Nothing I like better than to see a comedian tear apart hecklers and disrupters.
