The Lost Dutchman's mine, Forgotten Movie Ghost Towns, and someone returns
Ойын-сауық
It’s a legend as Old as the hills, the tale of the lost Dutchman’s gold mine! And now I’m finally learning more about the legend for myself in Another Randomland Adventure! I expected the treasure maps and the epic scenery, what I DIDNT expect was to discover the remains of a forgotten movie ranch! And of course right next door is another amazing “ghost town” only this time, appearances can be deceiving. We’re visiting phoenix’s version of the old timey Knotts Berry Farm at Goldfield AZ Ghost Town! A recreated ghost town that’s located very near the lost Dutchman’s gold mining area!

I lived and worked in Tombstone for 5 years. There was no Randomland back then. I was a little too early. Thank you Justin for your enthusiasm and passion for the ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooold weeeest.
As soon as he said shooting gallery i yanked my headphones off. Every time he gets me with that pop and the ONE time Im prepared he doesn't do it!! Bamboozled again scarred!!! *cries in spanish *
14:40 I love how they used the Knott's Pony Express logo and Thunder Mountain name on their poster!
random fact: the show "Hey Dude" on Nickalodeon was filmed outside of Tuscon, AZ. the set is abandoned in the desert, but it's still there
Yep I was told my great grandfather had a Map to the mine LOL ! Sure he bought a coppy. wish i had that paper for keep sake.
Julio knows how to tell a good story
I was just there in January! The owner of the town has a white beard and sits at the gold panning counter. He’s an amazing story teller

That ghost town is really close to where I used to live! Great video. Thank you for continuing to share your adventures. :)
Justin, you should totally go to the Silverado Movie Town nr Santa Fe in NM!! They shot a ton of movies there, including the chapel Slash plays outside on the video for November Rain!
Love these videos and trips!
Thanks, Justin. I live in Arizona and go to Goldfield about twice a year. Great place, especially around Christmas when you want to stock up on scorpions in lucite for all the Christmas stockings you need to fill out here in the west!
Thanks Justin!
Before the reveal, I was just thinking when we would see your old friend again.
You're very close to where I live! The Superstition Mountain range is within sight of my house! Well, there are obstructions, like trees and other houses, but it's very close.
Just found your channel. Look forward to watching more.
Awesome video Justin. 👍🏻👏🏻😎
Thank you, Justin you're the best! I really enjoyed this. As if I don't enjoy ALL your videos.
The owner(?) of that Superstition Mountain museum has some crazy stories. Growing up around there he would sneak on to western movie sets dressed as a cowboy for free lunch and he actually found that Conquistador armor himself among a ton of other crazy Indiana Jones-like artifacts back in the day.
Julio is a natural public speaker!
Didn't get a notification about this video until today. Thanks KZread.
That Julio, he can sure spin a tale. Hahaha, you're awesome Justin! 😊 🐓
I live 10 minutes from there. We bring our Airstream up to the Lost Dutchman State Park at the foot of Superstition Mountains, its so beautiful. I wish I knew you were visiting our town, we would have loved to take you guys to dinner. :)
Cant wait for the your next Tombstone vid!!!!

I'm loving these Wild West history videos!
Man, I love the Superstition Mountain(s)! It's the closest place to go camping if you live in the east valley. You've done lots of other Arizona videos, but never one so close to me! Love adventuring vicariously through you man!
Hey justin at Knott's berry farm the new ride hang time opened! 👍
When you get back to Los Angeles, you should drive up to Bakersfield and check out the Kern County Museum. I think you would like it.
#Julio #Julio #Julio
Hope you enjoy the heat of Arizona enjoy your videos

Man!!! Come hang out if you have time I’m right by there!
You need to make tiny miniature Julio's so everybody can buy one like a keychain Julio and preferably pre-surgery AKA eye patch it looks more piratey that way....
I hiked up Lost Dutchman State Park
Awesome - love all things Elvis and Charro is one of my top two favorite Elvis movies and the only song in the movie - and it is in the credits cause it is the only Elvis movie that his character doesn't sing - is Charro (go figure) and one of my very favorite Elvis songs
I'm in Chandler AZ!
Have fun
You should visit Tombstone, a lot of cool things to experience.
WOAHH! I loved this! Can you do more legends??
LONG LIVE JULIO!!! 🐓❤️
Come to the white mountain Apache tripe in AZ
Justin have you been to Havasu city Arizona? It's just outside of California. It's fun, the Colorado river runs through it. I'm going out there soon, it's so beautiful too. You should go.
Check out Bisbee AZ...Next to Tombstone.
Awesome to see you in town! How long are you in the area for? Glad to see you using the drone again. As always a great video.
Hey, Good video. looks way HOT there. I so couldn't live there.
That bordello is haunthed
Liking all that open space, good video no throngs of people. I'd like to live here, hot or cool.
...Gosh dang it if I knew you were here, I would have gone to visit you. I live like...30-45 mins from the ghost town. >/
LOL, Justin, At 22:26 I think you forgot to add Julio's voiceover audio. LOL
Julio!!!
That’s pappy in the holdddddddddd holddddddddd West. Jacob might get jealous. The carpet bagger. Lol
Did you get a drone? Fun pic!
Is it possible that Hacksaw Tom and the Dutchman are the same person? That would explain the random gold and nobody being able to find the mine.
Justin, have you considered using spy glasses for places that prohibit photography? Those type of glasses exist.
oh my you were near me lol and I didnt even know lol
Cool Sights...also how did Julio end up in Tombstone?
Did you get a new drone?
Hey wait, did you get a camera drone?!
Hi Justin welcome to my side of town! If you will be in Phoenix for a bit, I'll be glad to show you around. Here is an interesting but of Mesa AZ history, we had alligator farm on Main St and Lindsay. Buckhorn Baths on Recker and Main St used to be the place of mineral baths until the late 1990's and celebrities to presidents stayed there. Florence, AZ has the old and still in use prison, the historical museum is awesome and free! PM me on Twitter @theogradioman btw, I work at the States oldest radio station KTAR.
No comments yet? What's going on? Just a bug? May I start? What shall I say? Ah! I know: I love your channel, Justin! :-)
Was Julio using a body mic? I think the audio cut out.
I'm surprised you dont stop at old tucson studios
I know some times when they say no photography. They mean no flash photography, because of the UV damage the flash does to things.
The Goooooooooooooold West.
